Terrible receptionists ruin healthcare experience
Attempting to contact them in the morning is a frustrating experience. There's no proper queue system, and they simply advise you to call back later. Their reception staff are absolutely dreadful. They display zero compassion towards patients, communicating with a harsh and dismissive tone. They consistently shift blame onto patients, despite clear evidence of their own incompetence. My wife and I endured their poor service for years, which ultimately drove us to leave the practice in distress. Even now, when I call on behalf of my parents, nothing has fundamentally changed. To be fair, a few receptionists are tolerable, but there's one individual who continues to maintain an incredibly negative attitude. I cannot comprehend why they fail to recruit staff who are genuinely interested in resolving customer issues and can effectively manage high-pressure environments.

The appointment booking process at this clinic is an absolute nightmare. Attempting to schedule a visit in person, I was informed that reservations could only be made via app or phone the following morning at 8:30am. Using the app the next day, I secured the sole available phone consultation slot. I waited for the doctor's call, but nothing happened. Upon contacting the surgery, they claimed the doctor attempted to reach me, yet my phone records showed no missed call or voicemail. They dismissively stated my appointment window had expired and I'd need to rebook the following week due to the weekend. For the subsequent five weekdays, I religiously woke up at 8:30am trying to book an appointment. Each attempt yielded no available slots. When I called again, I was told that app bookings actually open at 8:00am, not 8:30am as previously advised. Essentially, I squandered an entire week because of staff providing incorrect information. I persisted the next week, attempting to book precisely at 8:00am every single day for five consecutive days, yet still no success. After 15 days, I remain unable to secure a simple consultation about a minor skin issue. The thought of dealing with a more serious medical concern is terrifying - are patients expected to wait endlessly? The entire system is fundamentally broken. There's zero accountability for missed appointments, staff provides conflicting guidance, and appointment availability is non-existent. Park View Surgery needs significant improvement.

Worst medical practice ever dangerous and negligent
I've been a patient at Parkview surgery for five years, and I can unequivocally state that based on my personal experience, they are completely incompetent and potentially dangerous to my well-being. Throughout these five years, they have consistently failed to accurately prepare my bi-monthly prescription list. Moreover, due to their negligence, I've repeatedly endured dangerous medication withdrawals that should have been medically supervised. When I voiced my complaints, they actually attempted to remove me from their patient list, but I challenged them, reminding them that they serve patients, not vice versa, and that removing a patient is only legally permissible under specific circumstances. Forced to reinstate me, they've since responded with passive-aggressive treatment, deliberately mismanaging my prescriptions. On one occasion, a doctor even verbally abused me by unexpectedly shouting during a phone call. Given my history of critical blood pressure issues - with readings frequently exceeding 250/150 when emergency treatment begins at 200 and normal readings are around 120/80 - I've observed that doctors either stopped measuring my blood pressure or deliberately ignored these dangerously high readings. I can confidently say that since becoming their patient, my health has progressively deteriorated due to their substandard medical care.

Frustrating journey through broken healthcare system
Absolute nonsense, truly! I've battled numerous mental health challenges; Uncontrolled anger, persistent depression, crippling anxiety, severe insomnia (especially), and weight complications, and despite consulting multiple medical professionals since 2016 (at minimum... From London to Loughborough), I never received a proper diagnosis!!? My previous general practitioner personally informed me about my fatty liver condition.....At 5ft5, I ballooned to 99kg! NOW I'M 87.7KG and still overweight - these issues don't vanish instantly! Yet, I CANNOT obtain documentation confirming my ongoing struggles despite comprehensive evidence and consistent reporting!!? I recently contacted my GP for a mental health consultation AND WASN'T EVEN PHYSICALLY EXAMINED!?.....no blood tests, no comprehensive evaluation, no brain imaging.....absolutely nothing! He simply declared "I'll prescribe antidepressants for 3 to 6 months!?" What astronomical salaries do these so-called professionals earn!? Completely unjust & oppressive system these individuals operate honestly. I sincerely hope such treatment isn't tolerated in The East! Western healthcare systems are massively overrated! And DELIBERATELY HARMFUL AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED!

I followed the specified time instruction and called at 8:30am as directed. Despite this, I was stuck waiting in a lengthy queue for over thirty minutes. I slowly progressed from position 22 to finally reaching the front, only to have the receptionist interrogate me about my issue and reason for seeking an appointment. After carefully explaining everything, she simply informed me that they were completely booked for the day and do not schedule future appointments. This means the entire frustrating process would essentially repeat itself, with no resolution in sight.

Rude receptionists discriminate against my mask exemption
The front desk staff at this medical center are acting like they're untouchable! They're insisting I put on a mask when I'm clearly exempt from doing so. I consider this blatant discrimination and plan to escalate this to the practice's management. Especially since the World Health Organization has declared Covid is no longer a significant risk! This clinic seems to be creating their own arbitrary rules, when I've attended hospital appointments without mask requirements. Even Dr. Swinscoe, who is wonderful, confirmed that mask-wearing is no longer mandatory. If these arrogant and rude receptionists continue to force mask compliance on me, I will definitely terminate my long-standing patient relationship with this surgery.

I've been a patient at this medical practice for an extended period, and whenever I've truly required medical attention, I've encountered no difficulties. Similar to other healthcare providers, they operate under significant pressure and constraints, yet their appointment scheduling has consistently met my needs. Given their limited resources and high patient volume (frequently dealing with unrealistic expectations), I can't fault them for their current approach. While initial contact might involve a phone conversation, they will arrange an in-person consultation if necessary. I have tremendous respect for the receptionists, who have invariably been courteous and supportive throughout my interactions with them.
