Incredible healthcare team that truly cares
I've been receiving care at this medical practice for quite some time, and I'm truly disappointed that relocating means I'll have to seek out a new surgery. They have been absolutely outstanding throughout my entire experience, even during the challenging period of the pandemic. I've consulted with numerous doctors and nurses for various health concerns, and without exception, they have been welcoming and helpful. Given the current widespread criticism of general practitioners due to financial constraints and overwhelming workloads, I've consistently felt incredibly fortunate to have such a remarkable practice and dedicated staff!

Worst healthcare experience ever terrible service
If I could rate this zero stars, I absolutely would. The most unhelpful general practitioner imaginable. The terrible receptionist's sole aim is to brush you off. I phoned regarding issues for myself and my child on two separate occasions. I received absolutely no assistance whatsoever, not even a moment for someone to listen to my concerns. All I got was a pre-recorded message repeating the same useless script telling everyone there are no appointments available and to either go to the emergency department or call 111.

Exceptional medical care with compassionate and efficient staff
I've consistently experienced exceptional service from every staff member, even throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. My monthly injections and tri-monthly blood tests have always been seamless. They collaborate effectively with an external clinic, efficiently transferring my blood results. The only minor inconvenience is on my end - having to call at 8am for appointments, which is challenging due to my health conditions limiting my morning functionality. My medication management is impeccable; prescriptions are ordered precisely and delivered smoothly to Boots, where I collect them days later. I switched to this practice after previously being registered with Dr. Thenda - mockingly referred to by locals as "Dr. Death" - at Avenham Lane Surgery.

Terrible customer service from hostile pharmacy staff
I had an unpleasant interaction with Joanna recently, who was her typical aggressive and rude self. I was unfortunately stuck dealing with her unhelpful attitude. As always, she talked over me and claimed a prescription would be processed and someone would contact me. Predictably, neither of those things occurred. Katie, another hostile representative, left me a message. I'm choosing not to return her call today because I'm not prepared to endure more verbal aggression. The reason I don't have a pharmacy, contrary to their claims, is simply that the product I need is currently unavailable - a fact I already communicated to their combative staff member last week. I'm completely in the dark about what this new prescription might be for. If it's for Evorel, I've already explained that it's out of stock everywhere, which I clearly stated during my previous phone conversation.

Terrible service and lack of communication
I showed up this morning for a scheduled doctor's visit. Subsequently, I reached out requesting an urgent consultation. They inquired if the matter could be postponed until Friday. I emphasized that it could not wait. I referenced my existing appointment on 11/07/2019 and intended to proceed with that. Upon arrival, I was informed that my current appointment had been unilaterally cancelled, which is an entirely distinct issue. Their phone interactions are documented. No communication—neither text nor call—was sent to notify me of the appointment cancellation. As a result, I am now actively seeking an alternative medical practice.

Rude receptionist ruined my medical office experience
I encountered a distinctly unwelcoming reception when calling to schedule an appointment, with the receptionist displaying an unexpectedly hostile demeanor on the phone. Despite my easygoing nature, I was taken aback by her abrasive approach. She informed me that the medical practice would be shutting down at 1pm for staff training. One can only hope that this training session will address proper communication skills and teach staff how to interact with patients more courteously and professionally.

Dismissive doctors left me hopeless and helpless
For two years, I've been made to feel like I'm losing my mind by the doctors at this practice. Every time I visit, they dismiss me with eye rolls, interrupt me, and completely ignore my concerns. What I received as a 'diagnosis' was nothing more than being handed a random leaflet and offered antidepressants, with no explanation when I questioned their approach. After taking the leaflet home and scheduling a follow-up, I was coldly told by the doctor that my condition has no available help and I'll simply have to manage it alone. Months later, after spending hundreds on physiotherapy, I returned seeking two simple things: a doctor's note to continue my education and a referral to a specialist for additional support. They flatly refused to provide the note, claiming I just needed diagnostic evidence, and insisted there was no specialist to refer me to - again telling me I must handle everything independently. The practice is absolutely terrible - appointments are nearly impossible to secure, and their staff makes patients feel utterly stupid for even seeking medical assistance.

Utterly revolting experience. I called to schedule an in-person consultation a week back, but was forced into a phone appointment instead. During the call, they probed with highly inappropriate inquiries about my psychological well-being. Despite my clear refusal, they persistently pushed antidepressants and denied my request for a blood test. As a result, I'm definitively switching medical providers.

Absolutely dreadful service here. These aren't actual physicians at the clinic, just nurses pretending to be doctors. They're incredibly smug about their roles, acting like they're real medical professionals when they're just nurses playing doctor. What a joke.
