Endless wait for a simple telephone appointment

I've been stuck in a waiting line to secure a phone consultation with Riverside GP Practice for more than 90 minutes, and I'm still three callers away from being attended to! This is completely unacceptable and represents an extremely substandard level of customer service.

Today I called to get details about the flu shot, and Ms. Julie was incredibly supportive. She followed through on her commitment, returning my call a second time to ensure my child's situation was properly addressed. I truly appreciate her assistance, especially compared to the previous representative who never responded and seemed judgmental about my parenting choices regarding the nasal spray. Additionally, I want to highlight nurse Elaine from the asthma department, who is consistently wonderful - always attentive, listening to my concerns about my child and reassuring me that I'm making the right decisions. Prescription delay leaves patient frustrated and angry

I submitted my prescription request on Monday, and as of Thursday, it remains unprocessed. When I inquired, I was informed that the doctor hasn't even reviewed it yet. This is completely unacceptable. Two different receptionists have now assured me they will forward the request to the doctor. If that's the case, why wasn't it done when I initially submitted it? Having worked in a medical practice myself, I know we would never allow a prescription request to languish this long. I am extremely frustrated, and it takes a lot to provoke me to this level of anger.

Consulted with a practice nurse who seemed unsure about my condition. Ultimately, I received absolutely no assistance. These nurses lack the comprehensive expertise of doctors and appear limited in their understanding of specific health issues. I was thoroughly frustrated as they essentially abandoned me to handle my medical concern alone, leaving me without guidance or support.

Frustrating medical service with zero communication

Absolutely dreadful phone support that seems endless. Impossible to secure an actual appointment, just useless callback promises. I've attempted scheduling three times for my grandson, and twice they've redirected me to Parliament Street, which makes zero sense. He's barely been with this practice for a year, and his doctor is clearly at the current location, not Parliament Street. The whole experience is completely unacceptable and frustrating.

Frustrating healthcare experience with poor communication

Abysmal customer support.... I called early in the morning and after enduring a lengthy wait, I was informed that all slots were already filled within moments. Eventually, I managed to secure an appointment for my child, only to receive a cancellation call later that day. The reason? The assigned nurse doesn't handle patients under two years old. How could they not have known this during the initial booking? They suggested I call back today with the promise of available doctors, but now I've been given an appointment for 11/02/19. I'm definitely seeking alternative healthcare providers.

Parkside medical practice falls from grace

Top Surgery. Exceptional experience from the start, with courteous and competent staff. My only disappointment is not having switched to Parkside sooner, after tolerating my previous medical practice for over three decades. Regrettably, after five years, the practice's quality has significantly deteriorated. Two physicians have departed, and online appointment scheduling is no longer an option. Patients must either attempt to call at 8am (which is practically futile) or physically appear at 8am and hope to secure one of the limited appointment slots. The reception area is staffed by two notably unfriendly employees, with one particularly displaying a noticeably hostile attitude. I am now seriously considering reverting to my previous healthcare provider.

Worst healthcare experience for busy working parents

Absolutely appalling healthcare service. Parents with jobs find it impossible to schedule medical consultations for unwell kids. I attempted to book an appointment today, but no slots were open. When I explained my inability to call at 8am due to work constraints, they coldly stated my daughter would be denied care unless I rang precisely at that time. In a previous incident, they rejected an appointment when my daughter had measles, forcing me to physically bring her in before anyone would acknowledge her condition. This is a disgraceful approach that undermines the principles of the NHS. Such unprofessional conduct is unacceptable and damages the reputation of our healthcare system.

Worst medical reception ever terrible customer service

The front desk personnel are incredibly discourteous and uncooperative, demonstrating a complete lack of knowledge and fabricating information just to end phone conversations quickly. I've never encountered such disrespectful staff members. It's unfortunate because the medical professionals are actually pleasant and competent, though getting an appointment with them seems nearly impossible due to the receptionist's obstructive behavior.

Terrible customer service that completely failed me

Absolutely appalling customer service over the phone. The representative was completely unhelpful, dodging my inquiries and abruptly transferring me without explanation, which resulted in my call being disconnected. I'm relieved I was calling for an older patient, as someone less persistent would have abandoned the call in frustration. Zero assistance provided. Their staff desperately requires proper communication training! !!!!
