However, once you manage to get through, the physicians are impressively skilled and approachable. They genuinely invest time in listening to your concerns and conducting comprehensive check-ups. The administrative team can occasionally seem a bit brusque, which might be attributed to the overwhelming volume of calls and scheduling they handle. That said, one standout staff member is Sanjida Ahmed, who absolutely deserves recognition! She demonstrates remarkable patience and goes above and beyond to arrange emergency appointments or process urgent requests.

Terrible service with endless wait and rude staff

Steer clear of this healthcare provider! Their scheduling is a nightmare, with wait times stretching to 2-3 weeks for appointments. Even when you finally get in, you'll be stuck waiting over an hour past your scheduled time. The staff's attitude is nothing short of abysmal and completely unhelpful. I reached out 6 weeks ago to schedule my newborn's 6-8 week check-up, only to be informed the earliest slot would be when she's 9 weeks old. I arrived 5 minutes early today, and the check-in system claimed appointments were running on schedule. However, 20 minutes later, the receptionist informed me that the doctor wasn't even present, forcing me to reschedule. Now my baby will be nearly 11 weeks old for what was supposed to be a 6-8 week appointment.

Parkview service fails to meet basic patient needs

I've read all the positive reviews about Parkview service, but I'm completely baffled by my own experience. Getting an appointment seems virtually impossible, with a standard three-week waiting period regardless of your medical condition. I had to desperately plead for appointments regarding a pilonidal cyst removal, which remains unhealed since September. The staff's response was marked by eye-rolling and an overtly dismissive demeanor. The nurse named Hope visibly struggled with the receptionists' reluctance to schedule appointments, occasionally intervening herself. My pre-existing mobility issues have only worsened, forcing me to seek expensive private treatment that has already cost me over £1000 - an expense I can ill afford. I've navigated a complex process to obtain X-rays and MRIs from Lewisham, making a simple request to collect documents that was met with bewildering resistance. I merely asked if they could hand over my medical records through the door to minimize my painful travel, but was treated as if I'd made an unprecedented, impossible demand. Every phone interaction feels like confronting an impenetrable barrier, with reception staff seemingly trained to terminate calls as quickly as possible. I absolutely cannot recommend this practice. I'm currently preparing formal complaints against both this surgery and Lewisham Hospital. I've scheduled a meeting with Dr. DAS, whom I've known for over two decades and whose father I remember fondly. I'm exhausted by being denied treatment by non-medical personnel, feeling that I'm entitled to NHS care without spending thousands seeking help. Yours in pain, frustration, and immobility.
