Horrible customer service at this terrible place

The receptionist was extremely discourteous. I arrived with my two kids to complete registration, and they abruptly informed me that the process must be done online, not even allowing me to remain in the area for a few moments. They forcefully instructed me to leave immediately, dismissing my attempt to inquire about any potential questions. Their customer service was shockingly unwelcoming and unprofessional.

I'm considering switching general practitioners because securing an appointment when necessary is nearly impossible, and I'm frequently redirected to alternate medical facilities. Communicating with the reception staff is incredibly challenging - waiting on hold for extended periods, only to be informed that all interactions must occur through Patches. At this point, maintaining a contact number seems utterly futile.

Compassionate doctor makes up for long wait times

Despite the lengthy two-week wait for an in-person consultation, even with my chronic health conditions and pregnancy, the staff were warm and welcoming. Dr. Metha, as always, was exceptional. He attentively listened, offered advice, and took appropriate action while consistently seeking my consent. The surgery is perpetually crowded, so be prepared to wait and allocate extra time beyond your scheduled appointment. Having been a patient here since birth, I've witnessed numerous changes and increased demand that have gradually diminished service quality. While some doctors are subpar, I've consistently relied on Dr. Metha or Dr. Damani during his absence, as they consistently provide the most outstanding service and medical expertise. I'm frustrated by the patchy service, the inability to easily book appointments online or by phone, and the challenging process of securing emergency consultations - these factors significantly detract from my overall experience.

I'd rate this zero stars if I could. My medical situation is deteriorating rapidly, and they're completely uncooperative about scheduling an appointment. The receptionist was incredibly unhelpful and defensive when I requested her name. I've been attempting to secure an appointment for three days now, and I've received absolutely no response. The front desk staff desperately needs retraining or replacement to develop some basic understanding of patient care and communication.

Frustrated patient seeks neurologist after missed diagnosis

I awarded 3 stars primarily due to the reception staff's efficiency. However, the rating remains low because the GP failed to heed my request. I specifically asked to consult a neurologist, believing crucial information regarding my diagnosis had been overlooked. Instead, the doctor diverged from my concern, proposing additional blood tests for iron, vitamin D, and thyroid levels, along with a blood pressure check. Naturally, my blood pressure would be elevated, given the doctor's frustration-inducing dismissal of my request. Having endured a 12-year health condition, I've discovered critical information missing from my medical records. If my concerns aren't taken seriously, I'm prepared to pursue legal action. Had the GP thoroughly reviewed my notes, they would have recognized the necessity of a neurological consultation during these 12 years of observations. I will seek a second opinion if my initial request isn't addressed, as 12 years of suffering is unacceptable. A scan should have been performed immediately in 2013 when I was brought to A&E - a critical omission from my records. Moreover, some notes are inaccurate, erroneously labeling me a heavy smoker when I've never touched a cigarette. No more blood tests will be conducted. I demand a comprehensive review of my medical history. Medical professionals must communicate effectively to prevent mistakes and missed diagnoses. Remember, you're supposed to be a 'MEDICAL TEAM'!

Negligent care delayed my crucial health screening

On December 19th, I visited the practice and was informed I would be referred for an ultrasound regarding testicle lumps. After hearing nothing, I inquired via PATCHS. An initial appointment was cancelled due to the doctor's illness. When I attempted to reschedule, I was told I needed to book an in-person surgery visit. Upon calling to question this, I was assured the doctor was handling the referral. A week passed with no communication, and when I called today, the receptionist revealed the referral was made on May 2nd. I asked why no action was taken during my December appointment, but received no explanation. It appears the doctor simply forgot to process the referral. If I potentially have testicular cancer, a timely referral could have been crucial for early diagnosis. I now want to file an official complaint but lack the manager's direct contact information. At this point, I have no idea how long I'll wait for the ultrasound, and I'm absolutely furious with the entire situation.
