Today I met Katie for my Asthma check-up and blood work. The reception was warm, with a welcoming staff member who genuinely engaged with me, showing a level of personal interest that's rare. She carefully listened to my experiences and asked thoughtful questions about my life. I appreciated being an active participant in discussing my treatment plan and understanding its suitability for me. Since Covid, I've struggled with motivation and getting out. A previous referral didn't work out, but after giving myself some encouragement, I'm now prepared to be referred to an alternative agency with potentially more supportive health pathways. Katie will help facilitate this referral. I also spoke with Kyle regarding my NHS App access issues, which I've been unable to resolve due to my limited technological skills. I explained that Sam was already aware of my problem, and Kyle committed to discussing this with Sam and following up tomorrow. Collaboratively, they've now reset my request, and I'm hopeful I'll be able to successfully reset the App soon. In conclusion, since joining PENDLETON MEDICAL CENTRE approximately 18 months ago, I've consistently found all staff members to be friendly, professional, and respectful.
