Patient feedback reveals a mixed experience with significant access challenges alongside positive recognition of clinical care. Appointment booking and waiting times emerge as persistent concerns, with patients reporting difficulty securing consultations through phone lines, lengthy waits once at the practice, and frustration with the digital-only scheduling system. Some patients describe the booking process as unnecessarily complicated, while others note extended delays between submitting electronic consultations and receiving responses. Reception experience varies considerably, with some patients praising courteous and helpful staff, while others report unwelcoming attitudes that discourage engagement.
Where patients do access care, clinical aspects receive consistent praise. Doctors and nursing staff are frequently described as compassionate, attentive listeners who demonstrate professional expertise and provide thoughtful follow-up. The e-consult service receives mixed feedback, with some appreciating rapid responses within hours, whilst others view the digital-first approach as a barrier to direct healthcare contact. Continuity of care is valued by long-standing patients who report sustained supportive relationships with the practice team.
The practice appears to operate under significant resource constraints, managing a large patient population with limited appointment availability. Feedback suggests that while clinical quality and staff courtesy are generally strong, the systems for accessing appointments require attention to reduce patient frustration and improve overall service responsiveness.

Great!
Disappointing medical care for elderly patient
Unfortunately, since my initial review, the outstanding physician I was consulting with has departed. I've had two phone consultations since then, the first being quite unsatisfactory, while the second was marginally better but should have occurred a month earlier. This week, I had an in-person appointment. Despite having a mask exemption letter signed by my excellent GP, I was instructed to wait outside upon arrival. After more than 30 minutes, I desperately pleaded to enter, feeling cold and increasingly anxious. Initially refused entry, a receptionist eventually escorted me through a back door into a freezing room. I was directed to sit on an isolated chair while the doctor stood before me, displaying minimal understanding of my purpose. She even had to ask about my recently completed medication, as her computer remained off. She disappeared to print a prescription, and I attempted to warm myself by the radiator, which was inexplicably turned off - no wonder the room was so cold! This is absolutely no way to treat a 75-year-old patient. My rating has been reduced to a - still generous - 2 stars. I have been receiving exceptional help, advice, and treatment recently. The service has significantly improved compared to previous years. My sole concern remains the difficulty in securing appointments, particularly for ongoing health issues where my GP has specifically requested a follow-up within a defined timeframe. This would potentially warrant 5 stars if I can successfully schedule my April appointment without complications!

Excellent!
Decades of compassionate care from amazing medical team
I've been a patient at this medical practice since the mid-1970s. The team has consistently provided exceptional care, with incredibly supportive receptionists who either direct you to your preferred physician or offer guidance on the most suitable doctor during peak periods. Over the decades, we've received outstanding medical attention from the Practice Doctors and the entire Healthcare Team, including thoughtful follow-up calls to monitor our well-being, particularly after a couple of emergency hospital stays. The doctors and staff are remarkably compassionate, attentively listening to every detail of your concerns and prescribing treatment with remarkable precision (even when you might doubt they've fully grasped your situation).

It breaks my heart to remember my dear friend and family doctor, Dr. Simon Jepson. May he rest in peace.

Exceptional healthcare with compassionate and dedicated staff
The medical staff here are top-tier experts. I'm consistently accommodated without being dismissed. Scheduling is convenient when you genuinely need medical attention. Most people fail to appreciate the demanding schedules and rigorous protocols these healthcare workers must follow. If you're dissatisfied, opt for private healthcare!

Poor!
Terrible service and endless waiting times
Scheduling an appointment at this facility is an absolute nightmare. Their single phone line makes booking nearly impossible, and once you finally get there, the wait is interminable. I arrived punctually for my slot, yet still found myself cooling my heels for over an hour. To make matters worse, a family with a small child ahead of me had been waiting even longer, highlighting the complete inefficiency of their system.

Bad!
Terrible medical practice that fails patients completely
1 star. Perpetually shuttered. During rare open hours, booking an appointment feels like an interrogation. They seem to handpick only the most convenient cases. The wait times are unbearably long. Our infant daughter's medical concerns were consistently overlooked. They declined to assist us regarding a discriminatory neighbor, refusing to draft a supporting document or engage with housing authorities about our concerns. The experience inflicted unnecessary emotional strain on my pregnant wife. Moreover, the practice frequently closes for "training" purposes. They should conduct staff training off-site and maintain an operational clinic to serve patients' actual medical needs. Otherwise, this feels like a mockery of healthcare - more akin to children playing doctor than a legitimate medical facility. They need to improve. Utterly unacceptable service standards.

Terrible service leaving patient without essential medication
New doctor refused to continue my medication prescribed by my previous physicians in Liverpool. Now I'm forced to make repeated trips between locations just to obtain my prescription and receive mental health support, as this medical practice is equally unhelpful. After just two consultations, it's already clear they won't provide the assistance I need.
