Feedback reveals significant challenges with appointment access and booking processes. Patients consistently report difficulties securing advance appointments, with many describing the need to call at 8am as impractical for working professionals. Phone access presents a major barrier, with complaints of unanswered calls and long waiting times before reaching reception. When appointments are obtained, patients experience extended waits on the day and occasional last-minute cancellations. Reception experience is mixed, with some patients praising friendly and supportive staff, whilst others report discourteous and unprofessional interactions.
In contrast, medical care delivery receives more positive recognition. Patients frequently commend the competence and professionalism of clinical staff, noting excellent bedside manner and thorough assessments. Several reviews acknowledge that despite booking difficulties, the quality of care from doctors compensates for access challenges. A minority of patients report concerns about continuity of care and communication regarding diagnoses and treatment plans, particularly when consultations occur by phone rather than face-to-face.
The practice appears to face systemic pressures affecting appointment availability and phone responsiveness. Whilst some patients demonstrate understanding of wider NHS constraints, others find the current booking system unworkable. The contrast between positive feedback on clinical care and negative feedback on access suggests that operational improvements to scheduling and communication channels would significantly enhance overall patient experience.

Excellent!
Fantastic medical practice with caring and understanding staff
I'm genuinely puzzled by the negative feedback, as I've been a patient here for nearly half a decade and find them excellent. Compared to my previous medical practice, they're absolutely fantastic. While NHS budget constraints and the pandemic have created challenges, Dr Counsell and her staff are truly giving their all. Moreover, my experience shows that if you approach them with respect and courtesy, they'll respond in kind - but naturally, if you arrive aggressive and confrontational, you're likely to encounter difficulties!

Poor!
Terrible phone service destroying rural community hopes
One solitary telephone connection serving a whole community is absolutely repulsive and deeply embarrassing, if you can even call it a communication line. What a pathetic excuse for telecommunications infrastructure.

Excellent!
Great service despite nhs challenges and waiting times
Sure, scheduling can take some time, but that's typical across healthcare right now with general practitioner limitations and NHS budget constraints. It's not the clinic's doing. The front desk team is swamped yet incredibly competent, handling their responsibilities professionally. Similarly, the physicians here are top-notch, demonstrating real expertise and medical knowledge.

Great!
Challenging scheduling but top-notch medical care
While scheduling can be challenging at times, the medical staff, particularly Dr. Mirza and Dr. Counsell, consistently provide top-notch care and professional service that makes up for any initial booking difficulties.

Terrible service leaves patients frustrated and helpless
These types of medical procedures end up overwhelming emergency departments. They consistently fail to answer calls and scheduling seems impossible.

Bad!
Unprofessional clinic with strict and unfair scheduling
I was dismissed from my scheduled slot at 5 PM due to arriving 8 minutes behind time. I'm curious about their patient scheduling, specifically whether each person is allocated merely a 10-minute window. Considering my prior visit where I was kept waiting for 35 minutes without any explanation, I'm seeking clarification on their timing practices.

Bad!
Terrible service and impossible to book appointments
Scheduling here is a nightmare! They exclusively offer phone consultations, and attempting to book at 8am is practically impossible. Their booking process is utterly absurd, which explains all the negative feedback they receive. I'm seriously considering switching healthcare providers!

Bad!
Terrible healthcare experience with unhelpful doctors
I absolutely despise this medical facility. Despite their efforts, the physicians seem to rely solely on reference materials or completely overlook my medical history when providing care.

Bad!
Terrible service from disrespectful and unhelpful staff
The reception personnel display an incredibly discourteous attitude, behaving as if they're superior medical professionals. I strongly recommend avoiding their services, as they consistently treat patients—the very individuals responsible for their employment—with complete disrespect and contempt, especially during vulnerable moments of illness. I suggest examining additional reviews of this establishment, which will confirm that my experience is not an isolated incident. staff remain consistently disrespectful and unprofessional 27/09/18

Amazing experience at this fantastic place
The team here is top-notch, and their service is impeccable. I genuinely cannot find a single thing to criticize. It's puzzling to me why anyone would leave a negative review about this place.

Bad!
Frustrating medical practice with terrible booking system
Utterly useless front desk staff who consistently fail to accommodate advance bookings. You're forced into last-minute appointments, which is completely unrealistic for anyone with a full-time job. It's absurd - I recently observed their empty reception area, and they claimed they only had two doctors available as an excuse, even though I was simply trying to schedule a nurse consultation.
