Encountered an incredibly self-absorbed physician during my recent visit. His demeanor was aggressively unpleasant without any apparent justification throughout the entire appointment. I've definitively decided to avoid him in the future. Having just relocated to this region, this interaction was particularly distressing and disheartening.

Turned Away During Asthma Attack at 8am
My 18-year-old son traveled from his grandmother's residence experiencing chest tightness, which subsequently escalated into a full asthma attack. When he approached the receptionist at 8am, his simple request was to see a medical professional and obtain an inhaler. However, he was dismissively told that an appointment was necessary and advised to go to the Emergency Department instead. By the time he reached YG hospital, his breathing was severely compromised, and they immediately placed him on oxygen and administered the inhaler. Had the staff at Plas Menai Surgery provided him with the inhaler when he first requested it, this entire distressing situation could have been avoided. The treatment was completely unacceptable and resulted in a deeply traumatic experience for my son.

Terrible doctor who always says no
It seems they deliberately obstruct any assistance. Whenever support is required, their response is constantly, "We won't do this" or "That's not possible." The purpose of such a service should be to facilitate, not to create additional obstacles. This is undoubtedly the most incompetently managed medical practice I have ever encountered.

Frustrating E-Consult Closed Early at 1 PM
Impossible to establish contact with healthcare professionals. The electronic consultation service shuts down at 1 pm despite the surgical wing remaining open until 6 pm. My intention wasn't to burden anyone by requesting an appointment, but simply to address concerns about an inappropriate prescribed treatment with qualified personnel. The receptionist demonstrated a lack of helpfulness and displayed a dismissive attitude, declining to relay messages and restricting access to appointments to only urgent cases. Substandard service characterized by reception staff who were completely uncooperative and obstructive. It's no surprise our emergency departments are consistently overcrowded with patients who could easily be seen by their primary care physician!

It takes three whole days just to secure a medical appointment. This is completely unacceptable. The entire healthcare operation appears fundamentally broken and requires immediate intervention. The quality of service is abysmal, and one has to question the purpose of our healthcare system when such inefficiency is allowed to persist.

The prescription was efficiently processed and made available at the nearby pharmacy for convenient pickup later that same day.
