In the wake of Brexit and the COVID-19 pandemic, the UK healthcare system is experiencing a critical shortage of general practitioners, nurses, and administrative staff, and this surgery is admirably managing with an extremely constrained workforce that puts in extensive hours. While it can undoubtedly be exasperating to experience longer wait times for phone responses and scheduling appointments, it's crucial to recognize that these professionals are doing everything humanly possible under extremely difficult circumstances.

Declining Family Practice: From Lovely to Disinterested

At the age of 51, I’ve observed that many of my relatives have remained loyal to this practice. Initially, we were welcomed by Dr. Rosen and Dr. McDermid, both of whom were wonderful. Later on, Dr. Musil and Dr. Queenan became part of the team; however, something seems to have changed drastically since then. The service has declined significantly, and it feels like the reception staff lack interest in assisting us now. I long for the days when our friendly receptionist encouraged us to visit our local GP without hesitation—those times feel like a distant memory now.

Frustrating healthcare system fails patient's basic needs

Terrible experience with their service and infrastructure. Updating my address requires an in-person visit to their office, which is incredibly inconvenient given my current physical condition with a leg injury and the significant distance I'd need to travel. It's completely absurd! They manage to handle medical consultations remotely, yet for a simple administrative task like address modification, they insist on my physical presence. Absolutely ridiculous!

The upstairs section is unexpectedly spacious, with multiple hand sanitizer stations available throughout the area. Additionally, it is conveniently located right next to the pharmacy for added ease of access.

I recently visited a pharmacy to pick up my prescription, but the receptionist directed me to another pharmacy where I usually get my medicine. Upon arrival, no one had any information about the prescription! It appears there's a complete lack of communication between these locations, and I ultimately left without my medication. Today, I received another call about collecting the prescription, but I'm still on holiday - and this isn't the first time such an inconvenience has occurred! Moreover, their customer service is absolutely terrible - I'm never greeted when I enter, and I'm forced to wait endlessly before anyone acknowledges my presence as a customer.

The staff at this medical facility are incredibly unhelpful, with receptionists who lack basic customer service skills and doctors who seem eager to rush patients through their appointments.
