Heartless receptionist dismissed mom's cancer concerns

I contacted the medical practice on 07/05/2025 around 3pm regarding my mother's medical documentation, as she is undergoing cancer treatment abroad. The receptionist displayed an incredibly unhelpful and dismissive attitude, essentially insisting that my mother must personally appear in the office and implying she was being dishonest about her medical situation. The receptionist's tone suggested skepticism about her cancer-related surgical procedure, which contradicted the information previously provided by her doctor. I am thoroughly appalled by this unprofessional and insensitive approach, and I am immensely relieved that we are no longer associated with this general practice.

Reaching the clinic by telephone is nearly impossible, and if you somehow manage to connect, they conduct remote diagnoses. I'm completely baffled by the purpose of this healthcare facility. I'm at my wit's end. The appointment process is utterly incomprehensible - no online booking system, phone contact limited to urgent situations, and no email communication available. I'm thoroughly frustrated and ready to give up.

COMING HERE COULD ENDANGER YOUR EXISTENCE From the people I've encountered, this medical practice used to be excellent but has seriously deteriorated I was labeled as irrational for seeking medical help and was told I had psychological issues, with no diagnostic tests performed. The staff demonstrate complete indifference, seemingly only present to clock hours and collect their paycheck - truly the absolute worst experience. I was repeatedly dismissed regarding a health concern, ultimately spending £20 in another country to obtain a proper diagnosis, which confirmed a genuine and potentially serious condition. The staff's negligence is unparalleled - I'm convinced a random bartender would provide more competent medical advice. AVOID THIS PRACTICE AT ALL COSTS If you're registered here, switch surgeries immediately, without hesitation. I was patronizingly told I was "too young" for the condition I later had professionally diagnosed. The staff spoke to me condescendingly due to my foreign-sounding surname and even asked if I needed a translator, despite communicating fluently in English the entire time. Consultations are unproductive, with medical professionals failing to actively listen or address concerns during the limited time available. It appears that for patients over 74, the practice adopts an attitude of indifference, almost as if they'd prefer elderly patients simply cease to exist.
