Feedback across the file reveals a practice experiencing significant operational challenges, particularly around access and communication. Patients consistently report difficulty reaching the practice by phone, with extended hold times and unanswered calls cited as persistent problems. Appointment availability remains problematic, with lengthy waiting periods and booking difficulties frequently mentioned. Reception experience emerges as a key concern, with multiple accounts of discourteous, dismissive, or unhelpful staff interactions.
Positive feedback highlights responsive communication, courteous professionals, and compassionate care when contact is successfully established. Several patients praise the digital platform and online inquiry system for reducing wait times, and some report efficient appointment scheduling and supportive medical staff. However, these positive experiences are substantially outweighed by accounts of poor responsiveness, disorganised systems, and staff indifference.
The practice appears to face systemic issues with phone access and administrative coordination that undermine patient confidence. While some patients report good clinical care and appreciate recent digital improvements, widespread frustration centres on the difficulty accessing services, the reception experience, and inconsistent responsiveness to patient needs. The gap between stated commitment to patient care and experienced service delivery is a recurring theme in the feedback.

Average!
Impossible to see a doctor in person
The medical staff appear compassionate and genuinely want to assist when communication occurs. However, securing an in-person appointment has become incredibly challenging. While telephone consultations made sense during the pandemic, that rationale no longer applies. I'm deeply concerned about the potential health complications being overlooked due to the inability to have direct, face-to-face interactions with a general practitioner.

Lost tests and endless frustration
The medical practice consistently misplaces blood tests and specimens, leading to significant frustration and additional work for patients. Definitely not an efficient or smooth service, especially when dealing with a sick child. Their reliance on the Askmygp platform means getting medical attention is like spinning a roulette wheel. If you happen to miss their brief phone call - which can easily happen due to poor signal or other interruptions - they simply close your case and essentially abandon your medical concern.

Terrible mental health support at this practice
They claim to comprehend mental health, but that's completely false. If they truly understood, they wouldn't dismiss patients or abruptly end phone calls. As someone with EUPD, I've been cut off numerous times. This practice used to be a quality medical practice, but it has dramatically declined in my experience.

Frustrating wait with rude receptionist at 5 pm
On January 30th, 2023, at my 5 pm scheduled appointment, I encountered multiple frustrations. The electronic check-in system was malfunctioning and wouldn't confirm my arrival, forcing me to ask the receptionist to manually log me in. My name wasn't called until 5:30 pm, prompting me to follow up, only to be met with an incredibly dismissive and rude staff member. Standing at the reception desk, I was desperate for information but was treated with complete indifference. As an NHS employee myself, seeking help for severe ankle pain that was making communication difficult, I was shocked by the unprofessional attitude. How can such disrespectful behavior towards patients be tolerated in a healthcare setting? Basic human kindness costs absolutely nothing, yet seems to be in short supply here.

Impossible to get a doctor's appointment
It was once a reputable medical practice. Now, securing an appointment is nearly impossible, even when experiencing serious health issues. The physicians seem perpetually rushed, offering minimal patient interaction. Steer clear

Rude staff ruined my medical visit
The front desk staff were incredibly rude and provided zero assistance, which leads me to suggest finding a different medical facility for your needs.

Can't get through on the phone
Contacting the medical practice by phone has become utterly frustrating. I've spent entire afternoons repeatedly dialing, only to be forced to physically visit the office and speak with a receptionist directly. Their text message system is equally problematic - when they send a message, there's no option to reply, and any attempt gets blocked, which then requires making a phone call that inevitably goes unanswered. This is a significant departure from their previous communication standards. During my in-person visits, I've observed at least three staff members working on computers and two at the reception desk, yet somehow no one is available to answer incoming calls. The automated phone message claims "your call is important to us" - a statement that rings hollow given the complete impossibility of actually speaking with someone. The disconnect between their stated commitment to patient communication and the reality of their service is stark and deeply irritating.

Frustrating booking nightmare with zero help
Tried to schedule an appointment through their website as instructed, but the online booking system is completely non-functional. When I called to resolve this, the staff were dismissive and criticized me for not using the broken online platform. Their customer service is utterly frustrating and needs serious improvement!

Rude doctor ignored my sick son's fever
Unacceptable and absurd conduct from a healthcare professional. I visited the clinic with my son today, both of us suffering from an infection that I likely transmitted to him. Rather than focusing on our health and examining my son's condition, the doctor immediately began criticizing me for not vaccinating my child, emphasizing that vaccination is not mandatory in the UK. Throughout our consultation, she responded to my inquiries aggressively, and physically pushed my son away when he curiously approached her. Despite my son having a dangerously high temperature of 40 degrees, she refused to prescribe antibiotics and continued her vaccination lecture. I am thoroughly dissatisfied and will definitely be switching general practitioners. Her unprofessional behavior, whether she was a doctor or nurse, was completely unacceptable. Such inappropriate treatment deserves serious professional consequences.

Arrogant gp dodged real medical care
The surgical practice's management and administrative operations are shockingly subpar, made even worse by the unprofessional conduct of certain general practitioners. A recent encounter with one GP revealed an arrogant and impatient demeanor, clearly more focused on self-preservation through misleading medical file documentation than patient care. It was evident they hadn't thoroughly reviewed my medical history, potentially compromising future treatment. The surgery's apparent priorities seem to be: a) defensive self-protection, b) exclusively phone consultations, c) rapid patient referral to avoid responsibility, and d) patient blame. Traditional values of patient welfare and genuine care appear to have been dramatically deprioritized. This decline might be attributed to NHS funding constraints and organizational chaos. Where GPs once embodied professional integrity, the current culture seems centered on protecting comfortable positions, mechanically triaging patients, accepting resource limitations, and deflecting accountability. While acknowledging this doesn't universally apply, it represents a concerning trend in contemporary general practice. The erosion of patient-centered care is palpable, with professional standards seemingly sacrificed to bureaucratic expediency.

Unresponsive gps left me feeling frustrated
What happened to this once-excellent medical practice? It's now become ineffective in managing specific health issues, with general practitioners who seem disinterested in truly hearing their patients' concerns. You're left waiting and must persistently make multiple phone calls before they'll even consider returning your contact. The decline is frustrating - while I recognize the challenges healthcare professionals face, when patients reach out seeking assistance, they should receive prompt and attentive care.

Kind doctors make a difference
Compassionate medical professionals who genuinely care. The front desk can be challenging to reach, but the staff are approachable and communicative. There's room for improvement in their internal coordination and interdepartmental communication. Occasional administrative missteps lead to unnecessary waiting times and patient irritation, which might explain some negative feedback. However, when everything runs smoothly, it's a highly efficient and supportive healthcare environment. They have my encouragement to maintain their positive approach and continue refining their processes.

Frustrating process for getting death certificate
Communication is extremely poor with this company. Attempts to reach customer service via phone consistently result in no response, and the process of obtaining a death certificate is frustratingly slow and inefficient.

Disappointing doctor's response during cancer diagnosis
I'm dealing with a cancer diagnosis and needed to complete an insurance document. Initially, the medical practice assured me there would be no charge for assistance. However, upon submitting the form, they suddenly suggested a potential fee. After the paperwork was processed, I received a demand for a £36 charge. The physician simply signed off on the form, attaching documentation from the hospital that I had already received. Throughout my entire medical journey, the surgery has shown a complete lack of follow-up or concern for my personal health and well-being since my initial consultation, which occurred long before my diagnosis was confirmed.

Poor!
Cramped pharmacy with endless waiting times
The pharmacy's premises are woefully cramped considering the volume of prescriptions they handle. Parking is extremely limited, forcing patients to rely on the Sainsburys car park, which is typically the only viable option. The waiting area is consistently overcrowded, with patients often enduring lengthy waits in unpleasant weather conditions. Despite these challenges, the pharmacists demonstrate remarkable professionalism and resilience, managing admirably under intense constraints. However, the overall facility's size and location urgently require comprehensive reevaluation.

Friendly staff helped my non-english dad
The quality of service at this medical practice is truly exceptional. Phone calls are consistently returned promptly, the front desk staff are courteous and accommodating, and they go above and beyond to assist patients. Dr. Jackson has been incredibly supportive and compassionate, particularly in helping my father navigate his medical needs despite language barriers. We are deeply appreciative of their outstanding care. Our sincere thanks.

Worst clinic wait times ever
Getting a medical consultation here is like waiting for a miracle - the appointment wait times are so ridiculously long that your health might deteriorate before you even see a doctor. I strongly recommend seeking healthcare elsewhere.
