Frustrating process but friendly staff save the day

The staff members are wonderfully friendly, but only after you manage to actually connect with them. Their appointment scheduling process is in dire need of a complete overhaul. For working professionals, securing a consultation is nearly insurmountable. Phone lines are perpetually jammed, and the online consultation option is restricted to post-noon hours. When a callback eventually arrives, it can occur at the most inconvenient moments - I recently found myself discussing sensitive medical matters while browsing in M&S, which raises serious privacy concerns under GDPR. If you're fortunate enough to navigate these hurdles and work remotely with a completely open calendar, you might just succeed in seeing a GP.

Terrible service and endless frustration with practice

I've been a patient at this medical practice for more than a year now. They constantly hassle patients about medication authorizations. Waiting times exceed a week. When my husband attempted to schedule a nurse appointment some time back, he was informed he could only book via telephone, which struck me as completely absurd. I'm thoroughly frustrated with these general practitioners - they're entirely ineffective.

Terrible service causing serious health and communication problems

Their incompetence demands accountability, and I'm seriously considering filing a comprehensive formal complaint against this utterly ridiculous excuse for a service. Clearly, systematic shortcomings are generating increased phone line congestion and, more critically, leaving critical health concerns like mine completely unaddressed. Moreover, they consistently deflect blame onto patients instead of accepting responsibility for their failures, with Dr. Susan Martin being a prime example - a supposedly leading GP who should be thoroughly embarrassed by her unprofessional patient interactions. This reinforces my conviction that deep-rooted systemic issues persist, likely a lingering remnant from the previous dysfunctional medical practice (which was an absolute disaster, hence the facility renovation). While they're attempting to distance themselves from that troubled past, their efforts are woefully inadequate and fall far short of meaningful improvement.

Terrible healthcare experience leaves patient frustrated and unhelped

The service is utterly appalling right now. I've been unwell for seven days, exhausting every possible self-help option before concluding I urgently need medical consultation. Attempting to schedule an appointment through the app proved futile - only blood test slots were visible. This morning's phone call was a nightmare - ranked 29th in the queue and enduring a grueling hour on hold. Eventually connecting, I was promised a doctor's callback this afternoon. Hours of waiting followed... At 5:50pm, I pursued a follow-up, only to be informed the doctor was still making calls. It's now 7:48pm, and I'm still without any communication!!!!!

Terrible doctor with zero compassion or communication skills

Dr. Courtenay Evans provided an absolutely abysmal patient experience. When delivering critical test results via telephone, he demonstrated zero compassion or professional communication skills. His explanation was so lacking and disengaged that I felt like I might as well have been getting medical information from an administrative staff member. My strong recommendation is that if you are scheduled to see this physician, seek an alternative healthcare provider immediately. Cannot stress enough: steer clear of this doctor.

Terrible service and discrimination at medical practice

I'd rate them zero stars, as I've mentioned before, the staff's attitude is appalling. It's unacceptable that it requires three physicians to complete an ADHD evaluation, with Dr. Dallaway being particularly problematic. The reason? Apparently, my past addiction history, which I've now overcome, makes me unworthy of respect. The treatment we receive is absolutely shameful. Period. I'm not seeking preferential care; I simply want to be treated with basic human dignity.

The medical staff are wonderfully kind. However, connecting with them is extremely challenging. I've spent an hour attempting to reach someone, and the system won't even place me in a waiting line; instead, it declares the lines overcrowded and abruptly disconnects. It's genuinely terrifying to be unable to contact a healthcare professional during a time of need.

Worst medical practice staff ever

unreliable front desk personnel. i relocated 3 years ago and despite numerous attempts to update my address, it remains incorrect. they create significant obstacles when trying to send prescriptions via email. cannot rely on them to perform their duties competently. Update- After filing an official complaint regarding delayed prescription delivery, absolutely no improvement has occurred. Reception staff systematically ignore email prescription requests until over a week has passed, forcing me to submit emergency medication requests. Effectively, I must waste time completing forms that are never reviewed within their promised 48-hour window, then wait additional time for emergency requests to process, meaning I frequently go without medication for up to a week because reception staff avoid handling emails. They should be replaced entirely with agency workers. (update) I've even been addressed by completely incorrect names in correspondence about address changes. The level of incompetence is shocking. It's terrifying that such unprofessional individuals are responsible for such critical tasks.
