This healthcare provider is clearly unfit and ineffective. The integrated care system must urgently intervene to either rectify or terminate this practice's operations! Failing to act would be irresponsible and a dereliction of their legal obligations. A young woman of 19 has tragically lost her life due to gross medical mismanagement. The initial receptionist showed minimal interest in explaining procedures and seemed eager to dismiss us, displaying poor customer service. A subsequent staff member was more accommodating. Returned a second time after receiving a text about urgent medication. The pharmacist didn't have the prescription, as the original sender hadn't completed the process, and directed us back to the GP. Encountered the same initial receptionist who was abrasive and demanded blood tests, despite my earlier extensive explanation that these were completed just three weeks prior to our move. Wasted 50 minutes on a phone call, only to have my mother asked again to undergo blood work in the afternoon. When she struggled to understand the request, I attempted to clarify from a distance, competing with another admin's loud phone conversation. To my surprise, the receptionist rudely snapped, "Do not shout at me," despite my measured tone, and showed no interest in listening or helping. As an NHS doctor myself, committed to quality care and staff friendliness, especially for new patients needing guidance, I found this treatment unacceptable. This is the first time I'm seriously considering changing our GP.

I've been attempting to secure a medical appointment for more than a quarter of a year, and it feels like an insurmountable challenge! After repeatedly failing to connect via telephone, I physically went to a medical practice only to find the doors locked. Someone at a window inquired about my needs and advised me to use their online system. Following their guidance, I spent an extensive period completing the digital registration form. The system sent a confirmation, but two hours later, an email arrived stating my request was cancelled and recommending I call 111. When I phoned again and finally reached a staff member, they paradoxically suggested I return to the online platform! I'm utterly bewildered by this circular process. How exactly do these healthcare professionals justify their salaries? It's certainly not through providing patient care!

This is a fantastic medical service... if you're in perfect health and don't actually need it. For those requiring care, it's a different scenario. Booking an appointment is nearly absurd. The online scheduling system is so complex with countless options that it seems an AI is attempting to diagnose you. You might receive a callback, typically from a receptionist evaluating the urgency of your medical needs. After several weeks, you finally consult someone. Despite my knee arthritis, surgery appears impossible because I'm a smoker (which seems unrelated to a knee procedure), a fact bluntly communicated directly to me. Potential treatments like injections are also seemingly off the table, with similar dismissive reasoning. They suggest contacting them and recommending exercise, yet my physical condition contradicts this advice. To manage my job's physical demands, I've become sedentary due to persistent pain that accompanies every movement—walking, climbing stairs, even lying down. A year passed before receiving a follow-up after my MRI, complicated by my GP's departure. Their systems and procedures clearly lack continuity. I wish I could provide a more positive review, but the intense pain leaves me seeking solace only in cigarettes, as I dislike pain medication. My advice: maintain your health.

The wait times seem endless, and I've been inexplicably dropped from the queue multiple times. Promised automated callbacks never materialize, and even when you finally manage to connect, the receptionist is frequently unable to assist, forcing you to navigate their abysmal online booking system. This digital form is so unnecessarily complex, verbose, and redundant that it's genuinely maddening - particularly when attempting to schedule for another person. Frustrating phone system and website for patients
Since the surgery's phone number changed several months ago, reaching anyone has become extremely challenging. Previously, patients had to wait in lengthy queues (sometimes exceeding 50 people), though they could hang up and maintain their place in line. Currently, calling often results in a recorded message stating "we are experiencing high call volumes, please call back later!" The recently introduced website is incredibly user-unfriendly, making appointment booking and repeat prescription ordering nearly impossible. Last week, I was forced to visit the surgery in person because I couldn't figure out how to request a repeat prescription. When I attempted to call, there was no option available for prescription orders. Moving forward, I'll apparently need to physically go to the surgery and use the prescription postbox. I urge you to review your service with consideration for the elderly and most vulnerable individuals. Thank you. My heart goes out to older patients, many of whom lack internet access - how are they supposed to schedule appointments?
