Patient feedback reveals a practice facing significant challenges with appointment access and communication systems. Securing appointments remains a persistent difficulty, with patients reporting lengthy delays when using online booking forms, phone systems that are frequently unavailable or unresponsive, and extended waiting periods ranging from weeks to months before receiving callbacks or consultations. Reception experience emerges as a key concern, with multiple accounts describing staff discourtesy, unhelpfulness, and dismissive attitudes towards patient inquiries, though some patients report positive interactions with reception teams.
In contrast, clinical care receives considerable praise. Patients consistently describe doctors and medical professionals as compassionate, professional, and thorough in their approach to patient care. The practice environment is noted as clean and well-maintained, and those who successfully navigate the booking process report receiving prompt and attentive medical attention. Digital systems including online booking platforms and prescription ordering receive mixed feedback, with some patients finding them user-friendly and efficient, whilst others describe them as overly complex or inaccessible.
The disparity between positive clinical experiences and negative administrative interactions suggests systemic operational challenges rather than issues with clinical quality. Patients express frustration with communication delays, unresponsive phone lines, and lengthy response times to requests, particularly affecting those seeking urgent care or managing complex health conditions. Several long-term patients note a perceived decline in service quality over recent years.

Poor!
Terrible service and unhelpful pharmacy staff
I visited the pharmacy to collect my prescription, only to find it abruptly closed for two hours with zero prior notice online or elsewhere. A staff member simply stated it was closed, offering no explanation. The reception provided incorrect information about collecting my medication from an alternate pharmacy, which turned out to be impossible. As a result, I made two completely unnecessary trips. The staff on the phone were dismissive and unhelpful, doing little more than brushing me off. The pharmacy itself appears neglected and dilapidated from the exterior. This entire experience has been frustrating and unproductive, leaving me without my needed medication. Thanks, Priory Cornlands Road, for consistently wasting my time.

Fantastic service with great online booking system
I'm puzzled by the numerous negative reviews for this establishment. My personal experience has consistently been characterized by prompt and supportive service from this practice. The reception staff are welcoming and consistently make genuine efforts to meet my scheduling needs. Additionally, their digital booking platform performs quite well. I typically discover appointment slots that align with my availability and can schedule them effortlessly. The system also allows me to conveniently retrieve my personal medical records.

Amazing service that exceeded my expectations
Absolutely outstanding service. Each interaction has been remarkable. They offer convenient scheduling and the ability to secure earlier time slots at their affiliated clinics. I'm genuinely puzzled by the negative feedback. I contacted them today and was given an immediate appointment. Thank you!

Friendly staff but disorganized medical center
Accompanied a companion to their medical visit at this facility. The place seemed disorganized and appeared somewhat rundown. However, the personnel were genuinely friendly and welcoming.

Bad!
Terrible medical practice with poor patient care
Absolutely appalling how this medical practice handles appointments, refusing scheduling on 13/12/18 and offering no slots before Christmas unless deemed urgent. The facility is clearly not functioning as it should. They're rapidly losing medical professionals, and soon patients will only encounter advanced practitioners, nurses, and what feels like makeshift healthcare providers. Securing a doctor's appointment now takes over a month, with seemingly fewer physicians available. I've noticed three respected doctors - Wylie, Slater, and Turner-Parry - have departed recently (as of 03/07/19). The core issue isn't with the doctors themselves, but with the management and systemic problems of the practice. Their service quality is so poor that medical professionals are consistently choosing to leave, which speaks volumes about the underlying dysfunction.

Worst service ever experienced with this company
Communication with this service has been consistently frustrating since my arrival. Attempting to schedule appointments has been a futile exercise, with phone calls rarely being answered. Today, they abruptly cancelled my scheduled appointment and instructed me to contact them to reschedule, but predictably, my repeated attempts to reach them went unanswered, as is their norm. Previously, they requested I provide some samples, which I did, only to have them seemingly vanish into thin air with no follow-up or acknowledgment. I'm completely exasperated. When I require assistance, this service provides absolutely nothing of value.

Worst customer service ever at this medical practice
Absolutely shocking service from the reception staff. They display complete incompetence and a total lack of compassion. Their unprofessional attitude and inability to provide clear, helpful information makes it seemingly impossible to even schedule an appointment with a doctor. The staff's rudeness and disinterest are truly unacceptable in a medical setting.

Terrible healthcare experience with unhelpful staff
Forget trying to consult a physician directly; instead, you'll be contacted by someone who presumes medical expertise. An absolutely unacceptable approach to healthcare.

Terrible staff but great medical care
The front desk staff continue to be frustratingly unaccommodating, but the physicians themselves are compassionate and supportive in their approach to patient care.

Great medical care from trusted family doctors
I've been a patient at this surgery since 1992, and throughout these 25 years, I've consistently received outstanding care. The doctors are truly remarkable, and my family - including my husband and adult children - have always been treated with genuine compassion and profound respect. My husband, our second son, and I regularly consult specific doctors for our ongoing health conditions. We've developed strong, trusting relationships with these physicians over time. The practice offers convenient direct contact through reception if needed. They provide same-day urgent appointments, duty doctor call-backs, and other flexible options. Having a pharmacy at Cornlands Road is incredibly convenient. Patients can schedule telephone or in-person appointments easily. Their services have significantly evolved with technological advancements, including online booking, text reminders, and digital prescription ordering. I'd rate the doctors' service a perfect 5/5. However, I occasionally experience challenges with telephone and reception interactions due to recent staffing changes. This is likely because the surgery has expanded, and I'm no longer as familiar with the front-line staff as I once was. My advice is to book appointments well in advance. If your preferred doctor isn't immediately available, inquire about their next open slot and plan accordingly. It's worth noting that some doctors have longer wait times during appointments, but this reflects their popularity and their commitment to providing thorough, unhurried consultations.

Terrible customer service at this medical office
Unhelpful staff at reception make for a frustrating experience. If you're dealing with a significant health concern, be prepared for extremely long wait times of around 30 days before getting any assistance.

Worst medical practice ever frustrating appointment booking
PMG's scheduling process is an absolute nightmare! I had previously decided to abandon them, and now I'm even more frustrated. I've been attempting to call since Monday morning, repeatedly getting stuck on hold and giving up after waiting 14 minutes each time. Their online booking system is ridiculously inconvenient, requiring an in-person visit with identification just to make an appointment. Today, I've exhausted every contact number on their website, and each call has gone unanswered. Completely unacceptable.
