Worst medical practice ever terrible service

Securing a medical appointment at this GP practice is practically unattainable. Advance booking is futile, and despite dedicating an hour to phone calls early in the morning, obtaining a consultation slot remains improbable. The receptionists consistently display rudeness and a complete lack of helpfulness, intensifying the patient's frustration. Privacy is non-existent. Patients must practically shout to communicate at reception, only to be met with eye-rolling and dismissive gestures. I required a referral to another clinic and submitted a written request to the practice manager after the initial referral was never processed. Even the second attempt failed. Upon follow-up, an irritated receptionist curtly informed me that referrals "take 28 days" and are done "as a goodwill gesture." At this point, 35 days had elapsed since the first attempt, with no referral sent. While a couple of doctors are genuinely exceptional, accessing their services is akin to winning an impossible lottery. I ultimately abandoned hope and transitioned to private healthcare, yet the practice offered zero support or coordination. The entire experience — particularly interactions with front desk staff — is profoundly disheartening. The reception's unprofessional attitude is astounding, and I'm genuinely astonished that some employees remain employed in their roles.

The entire reception staff, particularly Maria who promptly followed up with a callback to schedule an appointment, along with her colleagues, and Dr. Kal were absolutely exceptional - displaying warmth, friendliness, expertise, and genuine helpfulness.

Terrible service and unprofessional medical staff nightmare

I'm completely fed up with this medical facility - it's absolutely terrible. Getting an appointment is impossible, and they constantly make excuses to redirect you to their pharmacy for checks. The staff are completely incompetent, more interested in gossiping than answering phone calls. They're so unprofessional that they might as well shut down entirely. What's even the point of this place? I sincerely hope the senior management investigates and addresses these serious issues!!!

Priory surgery where appointments go to die

Did you know you could circumnavigate the globe multiple times, accomplish extraordinary feats, and still be unable to secure a medical appointment? Welcome to Priory Surgery, where avoiding patient scheduling seems to be their ultimate mission. I understand there's a backlog, but this is ridiculous - are they stuck in a time warp from World War II? If by some miracle you manage to get an appointment, you're condemned to endure the most soul-crushing waiting area imaginable, complete with an ancient television displaying prehistoric PowerPoint slides that look like they were cobbled together by a kindergartener. And don't even get me started on their laughable excuse for a parking area - it's so minuscule you'd be better off calling it a postage stamp than a car park. The absolute highlight of the entire experience is the moment you finally escape, albeit with your spirits thoroughly crushed and your hope for decent healthcare completely decimated.

Compassionate doctor but terrible blood test experience

I have immense respect for my doctor, who provides exceptional care and even goes above and beyond by reaching out to patients during late hours, which has significantly helped manage my medical conditions. However, I feel that without my university's intervention, I would have been too intimidated to continue due to previous negative interactions with the reception staff. I'm giving a low rating because of a distressing blood test experience with an inexperienced technician who dismissively attributed my intense emotional response to anxiety, when in reality, the procedure was genuinely painful. She appeared visibly uncomfortable and hesitated when I mentioned my phobia. In the initial two weeks following the test, I experienced a complete loss of circulation and discoloration in my right arm, which prevented me from training. Approximately a month later, I've developed what seems to be arthritis in my right thumb and currently cannot use it, despite the rest of my arm recovering from the initial discomfort. I will absolutely never trust this facility with blood draws again, as my existing medical anxiety has now been significantly amplified.

Every receptionist except one displays an incredibly discourteous and condescending attitude. They completely disregard patient confidentiality. While I recognize they need to understand which physician to direct me to, being threatened that I won't receive assistance unless I disclose my medical issue is unacceptable. This practice perfectly illustrates why the healthcare system is deteriorating - they are utterly incompetent. Terrible service from kim at medical practice

On Friday, I called to request a repeat prescription for my asthma inhalers and spoke with KIM, who claimed she could not locate my prescription. She advised me to wait until Monday to schedule a doctor's appointment. When I explained my ongoing asthma symptoms and my heightened concern due to COVID-19, emphasizing my urgent need for inhalers, KIM responded with shocking rudeness and indifference, callously suggesting I "go to A & E!" Her lack of empathy and compassion was appalling. Despite being a patient at this practice for over 15 years, I will definitely be submitting a formal complaint. I strongly recommend patients seek care elsewhere, as there is a superior medical practice nearby. In stark contrast to KIM's behavior, Dr. Saini is an exceptional professional - polite, caring, and truly dedicated to patient welfare. Dr. Saini genuinely deserves more than 5 stars for his outstanding approach and professionalism. If only more healthcare providers demonstrated his level of compassion and commitment. Terrible service with zero medical attention

I've been associated with this medical practice for a month, and so far, the experience has been extremely disappointing. For instance, they claim to be open until 6:30 PM on the 27th, yet their answering machine indicates they're closed throughout the Christmas and New Year period. This inconsistency is emblematic of the poor service I've encountered. At this point, I cannot in good conscience recommend this facility, though I remain hopeful that future interactions might improve and prompt a more positive review. Update after 2 years: I have not seen a doctor even once. As a severely disabled patient, my condition has significantly deteriorated due to the incompetence of this institution. I have recently departed from their care and am preparing legal action for extensive neglect, willful misconduct, and multiple instances of malpractice. I have meticulously documented every interaction with Philippa and her staff. To be continued.

Absolutely abysmal communication and scheduling. I've made numerous attempts to book a consultation, but every single time I'm informed they're completely booked and advised to retry at 8am the following morning. I'm completely frustrated and unsure how to proceed, as I desperately need medical attention but can't seem to secure an appointment despite repeated efforts. The physicians themselves appear competent, but their appointment system is completely dysfunctional.

Mixed experience with great doctors and terrible staff

The medical professionals at this practice are absolutely delightful - compassionate, attentive, and incredibly detailed. Unfortunately, the recently hired front desk staff are abysmal - discourteous, callous, and thoroughly unhelpful. Patients are made to feel like an inconvenience simply for reaching out. They work in a challenging role - as do many others - yet it's astounding that they cannot demonstrate fundamental politeness and respect. Perhaps approaching their interactions with the understanding that patients may already be experiencing distress would be a constructive approach. If such interpersonal skills do not come naturally to them, they are clearly misplaced in this position. No one is asking for extraordinary measures - we simply desire a modicum of empathy and basic civility.

Excellent service from the entire team. They've introduced a new scheduling method starting at 8am, which speeds up the process. You can call at 8 to check same-day appointment availability. I always prepare by making notes and researching beforehand. A compassionate doctor personally visited when my father received his terminal diagnosis. Recently, I've had an in-person GP consultation, which is now more frequently offered compared to previous phone consultations. My mother received numerous face-to-face appointments. The clinic reopens at 2pm for taxi arrivals. The check-in screen provides an alternative if there's a line. They offer flexible options like home visits, ground floor consultations, or telephone appointments for seniors. The doctors were particularly understanding and patient with my elderly mother.

Absolutely terrible experience with this medical practice. I strongly advise against registering here, as securing an appointment is virtually impossible. I've attempted to contact them on numerous occasions, yet my efforts have been completely futile. A general practitioner's primary role should be providing support and care, but this clinic does the exact opposite, only adding to patients' frustrations.
