Worst medical reception ever terrible customer service

I recently switched to this medical practice after relocating, and when I phoned to discuss transferring my records, the receptionist's attitude was shockingly dismissive and demeaning. Their unprofessional and disrespectful approach was so hurtful that I was left in tears. The way I was treated made me feel completely insignificant and unwelcome. If it were possible to give zero stars, I absolutely would. My strong recommendation to anyone considering this healthcare facility is to explore any alternative - literally any other option would be better than experiencing such appalling customer service.

I've been a patient at this medical practice for a considerable time, but the quality of service has drastically declined over the past year. Recently, I went to update my surname and request an appointment, only to be instructed to call back later when slots become available. I spent four frustrating hours trying to book an appointment, and when I finally got through, I was offered a telephone consultation in two weeks - not even an in-person meeting! The service is absolutely unacceptable, and I'm seriously considering changing healthcare providers. Priory surgery nightmare scheduling and broken appointments

The administrative setup at Priory Surgery is a complete mess. Scheduling an appointment is incredibly challenging. I've attempted to call multiple times on the recommended days and times, only to be repeatedly redirected to different dates and weeks. Their supposedly efficient online booking system has been equally useless - I've received no response after 3.5 weeks of waiting. During my sole successful appointment attempt, myself and 3-4 other patients endured nearly an hour of waiting, only to learn the GP we were scheduled to see wasn't even at the practice that day. We were instructed to return in the afternoon to see an alternative doctor. This was extremely inconvenient, having taken the morning off work, and represented a total waste of time. While I acknowledge the immense pressures facing NHS services, I'm accustomed to extended waiting periods. However, the booking process should not be this arduous, and patients should reasonably expect to see a doctor within their scheduled appointment time. The administrative and management systems desperately require a comprehensive review and staff retraining. The entire experience is profoundly frustrating and demoralising. I'm genuinely concerned that my medical condition might worsen, given my month-long struggle to secure an appointment. I've awarded one star solely for the alternative GP who was excellent and the select reception staff members who maintained professionalism and politeness.

The medical practice's actual care is acceptable, provided you manage to secure a consultation. However, the entire process of scheduling an appointment is incredibly frustrating. The entire infrastructure of the surgery is fundamentally inadequate - from the physical premises to their digital platform, and their appointment booking system. I would strongly advise anyone in the vicinity to avoid this practice. While I recognize this appears to be a widespread issue across many GP surgeries currently, this does not excuse the poor standard of service, and patients should absolutely demand a more functional and patient-friendly approach.

Terrible service putting patients lives at risk

I've been a patient at this medical practice my entire life, and while it was once a reliable clinic, it has progressively deteriorated. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the service I've received lately. When I called about a lump, they responded with an urgent tone saying it needs immediate attention, but then immediately contradicted themselves by stating no appointments were available for three weeks. This was prior to COVID, and now my lump has grown even larger. The waiting time is appalling, and you could potentially die before seeing a doctor. It's disgraceful how little they seem to care. It appears you're more likely to get medical advice from the receptionist, as accessing a doctor requires their gatekeeping approval. I can't help but wonder how many lives have been lost due to their negligence.
