A truly subpar healthcare facility with utterly nonsensical rules seemingly designed to inconvenience patients deliberately. Their system demands payment for a personal document yet stubbornly refuses digital payment methods or online instructions. Essentially, this forces patients to make multiple in-person visits. They are desperately overdue for modernizing their antiquated approach!

Terrible customer service from heartless switchboard staff

Shockingly discourteous reception staff left me utterly dismayed. I'm thankful no immediate family crisis is unfolding, as their callous demeanor would have been unbearable during such a sensitive moment. The phone operator at 14:40 on 30/12/24 absolutely deserves termination! One can only wonder if he exhibits the same disrespectful attitude towards male callers.

Frustrating and unhelpful medical practice phone service

The staff handling phone calls here are utterly incompetent and unprofessional. I called today on behalf of my father, who's undergone tests after discovering a potential issue with his LIVER. He received a text from the GP practice instructing him to request a callback regarding his test results. A woman answered, and when I explained the text's context, she was dismissive. She didn't even ask for my father's name or details about the test. She bluntly stated they have no available slots for phone consultations and that we must call back tomorrow at 8am. It was 11am when I called her. Why must I wait until the next morning at 8am to arrange a doctor's phone call for my dad? This makes no sense. Why couldn't she simply schedule a doctor's callback during our current conversation? How complicated is explaining liver test results? It would take mere minutes. This entire process is absolutely ridiculous, and it's not the first time I've experienced problems with their reception staff. Around mid-APRIL, I previously argued with another staff member when trying to schedule my father's yearly health check-up. She claimed there were NO APPOINTMENTS available until JUNE 20th 😡, which was nearly two months away. Are you seriously suggesting this is normal practice? 🤨

As Antonio Gualardia, a type-2 diabetes patient, I am extremely frustrated with the nursing service at this facility. My blood sugar levels have been erratic, and I'm experiencing significant health concerns. I initially scheduled a nurse consultation for April 22nd, 2023, but received a cancellation text just three hours before the appointment. When I called to understand the situation and reschedule, I was informed that the nurse was unwell. I then booked a follow-up appointment for June 17th. Distressingly, the exact same scenario unfolded - another last-minute cancellation with the same explanation about the nurse being ill. The receptionist rescheduled me for July, pushing my consultation yet another month forward. This is particularly concerning given my recent cancer diagnosis last year and my current poor health condition. I am now seriously considering seeking medical attention at the hospital due to these repeated appointment cancellations and my urgent health needs.

She called me "crazy" for suggesting potential interconnections between my symptoms and dismissed my concerns as trivial. This medical facility desperately needs complete restructuring or closure. Their service is consistently abysmal, with patients primarily encountering rushed nurses who seem intent on expediting consultations rather than providing genuine care. They show zero interest in listening or conducting thorough examinations. Anyone seeking comprehensive, compassionate medical treatment should absolutely avoid this practice. Nightmare nhs journey through medical maze

The absolute worst medical experience ever. I wasted 30 minutes on the phone with 111 services. They instructed me to go to Queens Medical Centre, but upon arrival, they redirected me to A & E. I took a taxi to A & E, where they claimed they shouldn't have sent me and told me to call 111 again. When I called back, they repeated the same interrogation for another 30 minutes and again referred me to Queens Medical Centre. I explained on the phone that they previously refused me, but the operator insisted this referral was genuine. I returned to Queens Medical Centre, and they again sent me to A & E, all while my blood pressure was alarmingly high at 100 x 165 for a 40-year-old. I'm completely bewildered why the NHS is operating like this. They once had an excellent reputation, but now they're just wasting time and seemingly waiting for patients to deteriorate or worse.

Terrible customer service and communication nightmare

I scheduled an appointment earlier, and then received a text message about it stating the doctor was unavailable. They instructed me to reschedule via phone, so I called. One of their staff members was extremely unprofessional and hostile. She aggressively questioned why I wasn't present at the 9:50 slot, and when I explained I received a text message suggesting I needed to book by phone, she became more confrontational. She claimed I had an appointment with a different doctor who supposedly sent me the text. I tried to explain that I was confused about the conflicting information, but she refused to listen and abruptly ended the call. This was an absolutely terrible customer service experience.

Terrible service causing serious healthcare access problems

Over the past month and a half, I've repeatedly experienced excessively long phone queues, often stuck at positions like 52 or 43, waiting for more than 60 minutes. Whenever I finally approach the front of the line, at positions 1 or 2, the call abruptly disconnects. This has prevented me from scheduling critical medical appointments for my children. In my assessment, this appears to be intentional mismanagement by this general practice. The entire operation has devolved into a complete farce. During the COVID pandemic and lockdown periods, their service was satisfactory, and even immediately after lockdown they maintained acceptable standards. However, the past two months have been utterly unacceptable.

Terrible service and discriminatory healthcare experience

A group of extremely discourteous and unqualified staff. If you value your well-being and expect a warm greeting at reception, along with courteous and competent service, this establishment is definitely not suitable for you. My impression is that due to their substantial clientele of non-native English speakers, they discriminate against individuals based on racial appearance. I'll be seeking alternative healthcare providers who respect human dignity. The NHS urgently needs to reassess their operational protocols.
