I'm uncertain whether there is actually a medical professional available at this practice, as a family member has been registered there for over a decade without having a consultation with one. I would advise caution when considering posting negative feedback, as I've heard that doing so may result in removal from their patient list, which would leave you without access to care at that location.

Difficult blood test, but helpful staff overall
Had a blood test and experienced significant discomfort during the procedure. The phlebotomist attempted to draw blood from one arm, then switched to the other, but both sites became badly bruised and swollen afterwards. This was an unfortunate experience. The rest of the staff are genuinely helpful and do their best. The main drawback is difficulty getting an appointment with a doctor when needed. Apart from that issue, I have no complaints about the practice, as I have been a patient there for many years.

I have been registered at this practice for several years and am looking to transfer elsewhere. My husband was not diagnosed with a serious spinal condition despite multiple visits; it took seeking a second opinion from another healthcare professional to obtain an urgent referral for diagnostic testing. The delay in diagnosis resulted in significant mobility issues, and he subsequently required spinal surgery. His recovery is progressing gradually. My daughter experiences severe mental health difficulties that significantly impact her ability to function in daily life. Rather than receiving appropriate support for her condition, the practice's approach was dismissive of her struggles. When she experienced emotional crises, the suggestion was that she should manage independently given her age, and ultimately she was removed from the practice list rather than being offered tailored mental health support or care coordination. I would not recommend this practice.

Struggling to see a qualified doctor regularly
I have been attending this surgery before the current ownership and remember previous practitioners who provided excellent care. The current doctors are also competent, however I have experienced difficulty accessing appointments with a fully qualified doctor. Over the past few years, I have primarily been seen by nursing staff, triage nurses, or paramedics instead. While the paramedic I have seen has been reasonably helpful, I felt their interpersonal skills could be improved. Overall, I believe the surgery's service has declined, which I attribute to being oversubscribed with patients. I would not recommend this practice unless your current surgery is significantly worse.

Helpful reception staff, but inconsistent care quality
The staff are wonderful and I had an excellent experience with one particular clinician. However, I had a very different experience with another healthcare professional at the practice. I found this person to be rude and unhelpful, which left me feeling worse than when I arrived for my appointment. The interaction felt disrespectful and I would prefer not to see this clinician again. It's unfortunate as the surgery is otherwise good.

Couldn't get urgent help when needed most
Had my mother visit for Christmas while she was unwell. Contacted 111 for guidance, and they suggested she contact her own GP practice if her condition changed. I'm very disappointed with how this practice handled the situation. Now I need to drive her back home, which is over two hours away, so she can attend a walk-in centre near there instead. I would have preferred to keep her here, but her medication supply is only sufficient for a few days. Given her age, I'm concerned about the level of care and support being provided.

Friendly doctor who actually listens and explains things
One of the most attentive and pleasant healthcare professionals I've encountered in quite some time! They had a wonderful manner, broke down explanations into easily understandable terms, and demonstrated genuine thoroughness throughout the consultation. They managed to make the experience feel modern and relatable, which was really refreshing; the reception team were equally friendly and helpful whenever I've needed to interact with them.
