Endless Runaround from Practice Manager

I've been attempting to resolve an issue with medical notes through the Practice Manager for three consecutive months. Despite her repeated assurances, nothing has been accomplished from October through January 2022. Even the doctors have communicated with her about this matter, yet no progress has been made. My medication remains unchanged, and for the past fortnight, she has completely ignored my telephone calls. The reception staff consistently block my attempts to speak with the senior Partner, always claiming they are unavailable. This situation clearly warrants immediate intervention from the NHS ombudsman to address these unacceptable administrative failures.

Missed My Appendix Emergency at Reception Desk

My previous doctor dismissed my intense stomach pain as "insignificant". Within 48 hours, I was in emergency surgery having my appendix removed. RAVENSBURY PARK MEDICAL CENTRE IS EVEN WORSE THAN THAT! Securing a medical consultation here is practically impossible - and potentially life-threatening. The front desk staff appear deliberately obstructive to patient care. If you physically arrive at 8am, appointment slots are non-existent. Yet simultaneously, advance bookings are prohibited, creating an inexplicable catch-22 where physicians seemingly cannot accommodate patients. The reception team consistently fails to activate the telephone system at the designated hour, then systematically disregards incoming calls. Their behavior is profoundly frustrating - they represent the absolute antithesis of compassionate customer service, especially when dealing with vulnerable, sick individuals desperately seeking medical assistance. Would've assigned zero stars if possible, but one star is the minimum rating available.

Worst Medical Care I've Ever Experienced

Truly, this might be the most ineffective and inept group of employees I've encountered. The front desk staff are discourteous and consistently ignore incoming calls, while the physicians appear clueless and routinely order incorrect diagnostic procedures. They seem to think it's perfectly acceptable to randomly close during business hours, as if patients wouldn't possibly need medical attention during the day - how absurd! The nursing staff arbitrarily denied me an IUD, despite my suffering from severe and debilitating menstrual pain that the device would have alleviated. Without exaggeration, there is absolutely nothing positive I can say about this medical practice.

Worst Surgery Experience Ever at This Clinic

I wish I could rate this zero stars, but I can't. This was hands down the most incompetent, negligent, and unprofessional surgical experience imaginable. Getting an appointment is a nightmare, and even if you manage to secure one, you'll encounter what might be the most indifferent physician in the entire United Kingdom. One of their receptionists is so monumentally lazy and discourteous that it's astonishing she remains employed. I've endured this surgical situation for a full year and am planning to switch providers as soon as my child completes their final immunization (which, by the way, was its own traumatic ordeal). The service is absolutely abysmal.

I've been a patient here for approximately 12 months, and I can genuinely affirm that the entire team has been exceptional. The nursing staff is delightful, and the administrative team consistently responds promptly and courteously. In just this short time, they've provided more support and care than my previous medical practice did over two decades. There's a young female staff member who has been particularly compassionate and supportive, though I regret not knowing her name. I am truly grateful for all the assistance I've received.

Terrible Wait and Rude Staff at Surgery

Completely dreadful medical practice. Currently stuck on hold for nearly half an hour. If you manage to reach someone, they're hostile, unprofessional, and frankly unqualified to work here. The standard of care has drastically declined. Despite being a long-time patient for four decades, I'm now seeking treatment elsewhere. The last five years have been a complete disaster. The entire general practice clinic appears to be a family-run operation where positions are exclusively allocated to relatives. Their approach is remarkably unprofessional and characterized by an arrogant attitude. Securing an appointment is nearly impossible, and if you miraculously manage to get one, the doctor-owner will limit your consultation to a mere 4 minutes. Should you attempt to elaborate on your medical concerns or seek a more comprehensive discussion, he abruptly dismisses you by claiming other patients are waiting. There's a clear sense that this practice is more focused on financial gain through local authority funding rather than providing genuine healthcare services. I am absolutely determined to file a formal complaint with the appropriate regulatory bodies.

This GP practice is an absolute nightmare! Trying to secure an appointment is an incredibly frustrating experience. Their system requires you to call at 8 am sharp, but getting through is nearly impossible. By the time you finally connect, all available slots are gone, forcing you to repeat the same exhausting process the following day. I've been trapped in this cycle for four consecutive days without successfully booking a single appointment. When I voiced my concerns to the receptionist, she was completely unhelpful and robotically insisted I keep trying the next day. I remain without an appointment and am utterly disgusted by this abysmal healthcare service!!!!!

Endless Waiting and Lost Paperwork Nightmare

If I could rate them lower than zero, I absolutely would. Their service is atrocious, the staff incredibly discourteous and unmotivated. Registering with them was a nightmare - I had to visit three separate times just to understand how to correctly complete the paperwork and identify the required documents. After they finally accepted my forms and scheduled a nurse appointment to complete registration, I was forced to wait over half an hour watching the nurse wander aimlessly. To top it off, they then casually informed me that processing would be delayed because my documents were misplaced 😶😶 Extremely dissatisfied with this establishment and cannot possibly recommend them to anyone!!
