Dangerous pharmacy with good intentions but poor execution
The personnel are friendly, but their professional competence leaves much to be desired. Their repeated errors with my prescription have forced me to carefully manage my medication supply and endure uncomfortable withdrawal effects. Their mistakes are widespread and include: 1) mathematical incompetence resulting in an insufficient monthly medication allocation 2) poor documentation practices that led to transcription errors, test result delays, and unnecessary additional blood work when a single test should have sufficed. The front desk staff are quite supportive, but I'm perplexed by the pointless prescription form option for selecting a preferred pharmacy, given that they completely disregard my choice. I'm completely frustrated with the medical practice's disorganized approach. I was unable to schedule a consultation, and the receptionist behaved inappropriately, acting like a medical professional while interrogating me about my appointment needs. Dr. Chan's conduct was equally unprofessional and discourteous, mirroring the receptionist's poor attitude. Terrible service from an unhelpful doctor
The receptionist was delightful and accommodating. However, the general practitioner came across as extremely discourteous and, from my perspective, lacking professionalism. The GP dismissively remarked that a procedure my father-in-law is scheduled for would "likely cause more damage than benefit," despite his seasoned consultant indicating a 98% success rate. Even if the GP believed he had superior medical insight, isn't such a statement unnecessarily distressing to communicate to a family member?
