Impossible to reach by phone for urgent care

The telephone service has been disappointing. It has been difficult to reach the practice for urgent appointment slots, and connectivity issues persist throughout the morning hours.

Phone lines constantly busy and frustrating

I have been attempting to reach the practice since early morning without success, as the telephone line remains continuously busy. This is not an isolated occurrence. There appear to be significant issues with the telephone system or insufficient staffing to manage call volumes. In my experience with other healthcare providers, I have not encountered wait times of this length to get through.

Impossible to book an appointment here

It's extremely difficult to secure an appointment with a doctor at this practice. I've had to make numerous calls over just a few days in order to get seen. The online booking system is frustratingly complicated and not user-friendly at all.

Reception staff provided genuine support throughout

The medical team here has been absolutely wonderful with me. I experienced a difficult situation at another healthcare facility that really shook my confidence, and even now I struggle with anxiety about accessing certain services. However, my GP practice has been exceptional throughout everything. I'm dealing with significant health challenges at the moment, and the staff have consistently been there for me with genuine support. The reception team are fantastic and the nursing staff have been equally caring. I'm truly grateful for everything they've done for me.

Reception staff were dismissive and rude

This practice has significant issues. The clinical staff are reasonable, however the front desk team are quite poor and display a lack of courtesy. They come across as dismissive and condescending in their interactions. I find dealing with the reception area very frustrating, and if not for the quality of the clinical care, I would not continue attending. The administrative staff really need to improve their approach.

Reception team handles busy phone lines well

The reception team are wonderful, cheerful, and genuinely pleasant to interact with. It's worth remembering they're managing a heavy workload, and while the phones ring constantly, this doesn't reflect rudeness on their part. The mental health practitioner here is excellent and very supportive. My only concern has been with one female clinician who seemed less engaged and caring in her approach, though the remainder of the staff are outstanding. I regularly bring in treats for both the practice team and the neighbouring pharmacy. As a key worker myself, I do feel the NHS would benefit from additional resources and support overall.

Phone lines down, no emergency help available

Attempted to contact the surgery by telephone in the morning to request an urgent appointment for my young child. Due to technical difficulties with the phone system, I travelled to the practice in person, where I was informed that no appointments were available and that a clinician would contact me by phone. After waiting until mid-afternoon without receiving a call, I returned to the practice and was advised that the clinician was preparing to begin home visits and that I would receive a callback.

Staff understood my mental health needs well

I've been a patient at this surgery for many years, and the staff have consistently been wonderful. The clinician I see is very compassionate and understanding about my health concerns. They're an excellent healthcare professional. I'm genuinely going to miss them as I'm relocating to a different area and will need to register with a new GP practice.

Friendly staff made us feel welcome

What a fantastic practice. The staff are amazing. My mum took my young child today and was also very impressed. The clinician was apparently lovely with my child. I would highly recommend this practice.
