I've been registered with this medical practice for over 5 years since relocating, and I want to highlight how exceptional the team is. The reception staff consistently demonstrate helpfulness and warmth, whether you interact with them in person or by telephone. While I do find it somewhat inconvenient that advance appointment booking isn't possible (unlike my previous practice of 24 years), I frequently manage to secure telephone consultations. The doctors are truly outstanding, with particular appreciation for Dr Wiggall and Dr Cannon, who have been incredibly supportive throughout my challenging first pregnancy. Their compassionate approach, emotional intelligence, and communication skills are remarkable - a level of care I've rarely experienced in my medical interactions. The midwives and healthcare professionals I've encountered have also been top-notch. The facility itself is pristine and contemporary. I'm genuinely disappointed that my upcoming move means leaving behind these wonderful professionals who have supported both myself and my family. An excellent medical practice that absolutely deserves recognition for their outstanding service!

Terrible mental health care leaves patients desperate and abandoned

Apparently, this facility would prefer mental health patients to endure distress and remain vulnerable rather than providing assistance when they're desperately seeking help. AND TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY, they've now discharged me simply because I refused to agree to having two specific doctors involved in my treatment. Moreover, they consistently demonstrate emotional abuse towards their patients - and yes, I have documented evidence to support these claims.

You're restricted to booking appointments solely at 8 am, either in person or by phone, and if you manage to get through, all slots are already taken. Standing in line offers no guarantee of being seen, especially if your mental health is struggling. The likelihood of experiencing a mental health crisis before receiving any assistance is high, with staff often dismissing concerns and suggesting you call 111 instead. Do they not comprehend the immense courage required to reach out for medical help, only to be repeatedly turned away and told to call back?

I've been a patient at this medical practice for an extended period without any issues. Recently, after relocating, I discovered I was now outside their service area. At 32 weeks pregnant, I was informed I needed to find a new practice - an unexpected complication during an already challenging time. Coordinating continued midwifery care and appointments has become an additional burden. I appealed for an exception given my circumstances, but was firmly denied, even though I've heard other local residents have been granted similar concessions. The practice's inflexibility and apparent lack of empathy has left me both disappointed and frustrated.

I consulted with the front desk staff who suggested contacting the general practice clinic precisely at 8:10 AM. This was concerning my child, who is currently experiencing an ear infection and requires an urgent ENT specialist referral, especially given his recent tonsil surgery a short while ago. As an NHS physician myself, I anticipated receiving at least a telephone consultation at the earliest possible opportunity. However, their appointment scheduling process is excessively complicated and inefficient. They urgently need to reconsider and revamp their approach. At our previous medical practice, booking appointments online or via telephone was straightforward and convenient. Given the current system's limitations, I can only award a single star for their appointment management policy.

Dangerous medical negligence ruined my chronic pain management

A medical procedure that abruptly terminates a patient's long-standing pain medication regimen (against their explicit wishes) - medication prescribed by multiple general practitioners over two decades for herniated discs and Piriformis Syndrome - and then forces an immediate withdrawal without any supportive transition plan, represents an egregious example of medical negligence and malpractice. One star is far too generous! My pain intensity has dramatically escalated since they arbitrarily removed my medication, citing only vague reasons like "we no longer want you on these drugs". When I requested soluble alternatives that are more manageable for me, they even rejected those, bizarrely claiming excessive salt content. Unbelievable! Consequently, no pain management means no further engagement from me. They'll likely remove me from their patient roster, but I'd prefer complete disassociation over continued mistreatment! Completely incompetent and duplicitous practitioners who deserve absolute avoidance!

Worst medical practice ever frustrating appointment system

You can never secure an appointment at this clinic - the phone lines claim to open at 8:00, but that's completely ridiculous. In reality, you're just met with a constant engaged tone until 8:30, so clearly the reception staff aren't even remotely ready to take calls. It's an absolute mockery of a medical practice with zero commitment to patient care. You attempt to book an appointment from 8:00 and get nowhere, then between 8:30 and 9:00 you're stuck in a seemingly endless queue, finally reaching a receptionist after an exhausting hour of attempts, only to be told no appointments are available. If the situation weren't so critically serious, it would be purely comical. And then they have the audacity to wonder why patients end up resorting to emergency services at A&E.
