Excellent practice - I have recommended two of my family members to register here after they felt unheard elsewhere. The clinical staff members I have seen both demonstrate compassion, empathy and thoughtful consideration in their approach to my care.

Booking appointments ahead of time is straightforward, and the facility is well-maintained and efficiently run. I have a preferred clinician I try to see when possible, as they are exceptionally knowledgeable and thorough, consistently going the extra mile to provide not just treatment but also guidance on broader health and wellbeing improvements.

The practitioners genuinely demonstrate care and provide the attention and support that patients require—I've never felt treated as just another appointment. Special recognition to one particular clinician who is exceptionally skilled, compassionate and thoughtful. They ensure comprehensive assessments are carried out and investigate thoroughly to identify underlying causes. Another clinician is consistently excellent as well. When concerns arise, I receive timely follow-up calls with clear guidance on the next steps. I'm able to secure appointments for myself and my family whenever needed. The administrative team are courteous and consistently make efforts to assist.

This practice has been by far the best I've registered with. The clinical staff and reception team are exceptionally professional and consistently go the extra mile to assist patients. Unfortunately, due to relocating, I've had to register with a new practice in my current area, and their appointment system doesn't compare to what I experienced here. I would have preferred to continue with this practice and wouldn't have minded making the journey, but that wasn't an option available to me.

Reception staff make booking appointments difficult

The automated message indicates that appointments can be booked between 8am and 1pm, then again from 2pm to 4pm. However, when I call at 8am, I'm frequently told to ring back at 8:30am, which seems contradictory. I consistently experience difficulties when trying to arrange appointments for my family, as the front desk staff often come across as unwelcoming. I'm quite disappointed by this situation. It's unfortunate because the clinical staff at the practice are genuinely excellent, but the reception team's approach makes the appointment booking process unnecessarily challenging and frustrating.

Staff called back when I left the appointment

Hi, After a decade I have switched to a new GP practice and joined Riverhouse Surgery. I am very satisfied with this change. The service is excellent, efficient, and I feel valued as a patient. On one occasion when I was unable to wait due to some delays, I decided to return another day. I was pleasantly surprised when the healthcare provider called me back, offered an apology, and provided the assistance and guidance I needed over the phone. Thank you Riverhouse Surgery.
