Terrible medical centre fails its patients miserably

Zero stars for this absolute disaster of a medical practice that deserves to be shut down immediately. An utterly ineffective and incompetent GP Medical Centre that has completely failed its patients. Their appointment system is a nightmare - phone bookings are impossible, and you're forced to use an online system where requests are blatantly ignored. How are individuals without digital access supposed to navigate this ridiculous process? Their fundamentally broken system is not just inconvenient, but potentially dangerous, potentially compromising patient health through sheer administrative negligence.

Worst medical service ever absolute nightmare

Utterly Disappointing. Total rubbish of an establishment. They solely schedule appointments to subsequently cancel them. My initial booking was set for June 5th, which they scrapped due to staff illness. I was then forced to trek all the way there to reschedule, only to have the new June 23rd appointment axed merely thirty minutes prior, citing a Covid-positive HCA. A group of incompetent slackers who have zero commitment to their job. Absolute garbage. Pure garbage.

Terrible customer service at medical office

The front desk staff are incredibly unhelpful and dismissive. They consistently avoid their responsibilities and show zero concern for patients' needs. Management should seriously reevaluate their employees' conduct and customer service approach. I am completely appalled and would not recommend this place to anyone, not even deserving of the lowest possible rating.

Unprofessional care leaves patient frustrated and worried

Extremely let down by the healthcare experience. My GP raised initial concerns, leading to an ultrasound and multiple blood tests with abnormal results. The final consultation with a paramedic was dismissive, casually suggesting that my condition was commonplace, stating I could randomly find 15 people with similar issues. I remain deeply frustrated by the lack of proper follow-up from my GP, and have undergone yet another blood test. The reception staff compounded my distress with their unhelpful attitude. Overall, I feel completely abandoned and am shocked by the apparent absence of genuine patient care and medical concern.

Smooth first visit to welcoming medical practice

My initial visit to this medical practice went exceptionally well. The front desk staff member was welcoming and provided helpful guidance. Although I can't recall the doctor's name, he was truly exceptional - he acknowledged the slight delay (which is typical in medical settings), and was incredibly detailed in his approach. He made me feel completely comfortable and presented multiple treatment options. Having recently relocated to the area, I've registered with Rivermead and am genuinely looking forward to future appointments :)

My phone inquiries are typically handled promptly, though I haven't yet experienced the notorious early morning call rush. Considering the entire 18-month period, I've encountered only a few minor inconveniences, which I consider a remarkably positive track record.
