Frustrated after missed morning appointment call

I called the clinic early this morning about an appointment and was informed I'd receive a call at 11:30. However, no call came. When I phoned back after an hour, the staff claimed there were problems with my contact details, which I know is untrue. I'm extremely frustrated with their service, especially since I'm feeling quite ill and urgently need this appointment. I've been trying to reach them multiple times today, and the last staff member I spoke with was incredibly dismissive and had a hostile attitude that made the situation even more stressful.

Dr knowles really listens and cares

Since joining Riversdale Surgery five months ago, we've consistently had outstanding experiences. The administrative and reception team are invariably friendly, courteous, and quick to respond (phone calls to book appointments are swiftly handled)! Despite current NHS pressures and potential waiting times for appointments, emergency slots are always accessible when you contact them early. Dr Issy Knowles, our GP, has been exceptional. She meticulously reviews our medical history and demonstrates remarkable thoroughness, consideration, and empathy. She comprehensively examines our entire health situation, exploring every potential avenue and offering support through additional tests or referrals whenever possible. It's profoundly meaningful when a healthcare professional genuinely listens and acknowledges the challenges of your health experiences, even when complete solutions aren't immediately available. We are deeply grateful for Dr Knowles' dedicated approach to our case and feel genuinely comforted by her consistent, detailed care and attention.

Surprised by nhs performance across all metrics

I find myself at odds with the previous assessments, as a recent National Health Service study revealed their performance significantly surpassed standard benchmarks across all measured areas.

Months of frustration with lazy doctors

It's an absolute struggle to get any assistance from them. I spent three months persistently calling to get a referral for an ECG, as they claimed they never received the email - which was sent at least 10 times. Even now, over a month after the test, they haven't provided the results, leaving me without crucial medication for 4 months and counting. Previously, they've denied me the pill for ridiculous reasons, like the doctor not personally installing my implant. They also refused to test me for anemia, despite clear symptoms and a 7-month-long period, citing their refusal to regulate it with medication. During one visit, I was labeled overweight at age 18 while wearing a size 8 - thankfully, I didn't internalize this, but such comments could be devastating for someone with body image issues, especially for young women. While they do answer phones and scheduling isn't impossible, the doctors seem disinterested, rushing through appointments without genuine care. Their priority appears to be processing patients quickly rather than providing quality healthcare. 1 star, absolutely not recommended.

Waited 45 minutes past my appointment time

Every time I schedule an appointment, punctuality seems to be a foreign concept to them! We're talking about delays that stretch way beyond a few minutes—more like three-quarters of an hour with zero communication. The irony is palpable: if a patient arrived this late, they'd be criticized for disrespecting the physician's schedule. But apparently, the medical staff's time is somehow perceived as more important than patients' time. A simple digital display showing current wait times would solve this ongoing frustration, yet they can't be bothered to implement such a basic solution.
