Terrible medical practice with communication and care failures

This medical practice has been a complete disaster lately (spring/summer 2021). My entire family, myself included, has encountered various problems that seem to stem from either poor inter-departmental communication or simply incompetent personnel. The reception staff appear completely disorganized, with no clear understanding of each other's or the doctors' roles, leading to critical patient communications being lost, misplaced, or flatly denied. This systemic breakdown has repeatedly resulted in wasted time for both medical professionals and patients. I sincerely hope they can improve, but currently, I cannot recommend this practice. Furthermore, their COVID protocols have been utterly ridiculous, with elderly patients essentially abandoned and expected to navigate smartphone technology while being forced to wait outside in cold conditions without seating or any means of communication about delays. When I personally witnessed an elderly gentleman confused and stranded outside, I raised concerns, only to be completely disregarded. The level of irresponsibility is truly shocking and unacceptable.

The system desperately requires a comprehensive overhaul, but management remains stubbornly deaf to customer feedback. To sidestep potential frustration, it's advisable to seek alternative services.

Dr. Posner provided exceptional care for my child. We were seen promptly following the initial phone consultation, with just a short wait time. The physician thoroughly examined my son and professionally determined the appropriate medication. The doctor was both highly competent and remarkably friendly throughout the entire visit.

Unprofessional doctor ruins otherwise excellent practice

I've had a positive experience with the medical staff at this practice, with the exception of Dr. Hewitt, who is the lead physician. His bedside manner is extremely unprofessional and dismissive. When we brought our 8-week-old infant in with concerns about a potential Umbilical Hernia, Dr. Hewitt barely glanced at our child and casually dismissed our worries. Fortunately, another doctor thoroughly examined our baby and confirmed that he indeed has a Hernia, which is now being monitored. Dr. Hewitt comes across as condescending and seems more interested in rushing through appointments than providing quality care. His approach is so poor that we've formally requested to never be assigned to him again, a request the practice has accommodated. I can confidently say I have never encountered a more unsatisfactory healthcare professional in my experience.

Overall pleasant and welcoming. Currently, there's a fortnight wait for appointments deemed "non-urgent" with instructions to inquire the next day about potential openings. It's somewhat challenging to determine their definition of "urgent", though I'm careful not to exploit their scheduling process.
