Fabulous medical professionals, nothing is ever a bother and very accommodating. One of the clinicians here is among the best GPs I have ever encountered, and I feel very comfortable and confident that I am in safe hands. The care is very thorough and explanations of findings are given in simple terms that are easy to understand. From the reception team through to all clinical staff that I have dealt with, the service provided is second to none across the board. Thank you to the practice.

Doctor rushed through appointment without proper examination

The appointment fell short of expectations. The clinical assessment felt rushed and incomplete. I attended with multiple concerning symptoms including widespread itching and skin irritation, alongside digestive discomfort, reflux issues, and blood in stools, plus concerns about possible swelling in the neck area. During the visit, the examination was limited to palpation of the neck region, after which I was told there were no apparent issues. Despite my ongoing abdominal discomfort, I was simply directed to arrange a separate abdominal assessment and discharged without any medication. I left without receiving the support I needed for my symptoms. I'm uncertain whether this reflects the standard approach at the practice or whether my experience was influenced by other factors, but I felt the care provided did not meet the standard I would have expected.

Attended an appointment seeking support for neurodevelopmental and mental health concerns. During the consultation, I was told that my difficulties were primarily attributed to life circumstances and personal barriers rather than underlying conditions. I found this explanation unhelpful and did not feel my concerns were properly addressed. I do not plan to return for future appointments.

I felt overlooked during my consultations, and when I raised concerns about this, the response I received was dismissive rather than helpful. I found the clinical staff to be judgmental and unwilling to engage with my concerns. Despite communicating about my hearing difficulties, I did not feel heard or supported. There have been ongoing issues with my medication management, with incomplete prescriptions being a recurring problem. I have attempted to address this through multiple contacts without resolution.

Advertised early service doesn't actually exist

I'm confused about why the Practice promotes an early urgent care service starting at 7am when this facility doesn't appear to be available in practice. Why advertise something that isn't operational? Additionally, I'm frustrated about having to ring the surgery again regarding a matter that has worsened and developed further following what I felt was inadequate attention during a telephone consultation earlier in the week. This represents my final effort to resolve this through the Practice before I consider escalating my concerns to the relevant regulatory body.

Easy to get appointments when needed

Very pleased with the service at this medical centre. All staff members are extremely helpful and I have never had difficulty obtaining an appointment. If I cannot see the doctor, I can always arrange to see a nurse instead. One particular doctor has been exceptionally kind and could not be better. They have provided excellent care for my husband over many years. The entire team demonstrates kindness and helpfulness throughout.

Prescription errors and dismissive approach to concerns

I have been taking the same medication dose for four years without any problems, but the clinician suggested reducing it by half to observe the effects. I feel uncomfortable being treated as a test subject in this manner. I am concerned about having my hormone medication altered without what I consider to be a solid clinical reason. I reported finding a lump and expressed concern about sharp stabbing pains associated with it, but after a brief examination I was told it was likely benign tissue. However, I was then prescribed medication typically used for digestive issues, which seemed inappropriate and unhelpful. Additionally, I have experienced recurring problems with my prescriptions on a monthly basis, with essential medications frequently omitted from my orders. These repeated errors with pain relief and mood-regulating medications have been particularly frustrating. Due to these ongoing concerns about the quality of care and attention to detail, I am planning to seek treatment elsewhere.
