Worst healthcare experience ever absolute nightmare

These are hands down the most incompetent medical professionals I've encountered throughout my extensive travels across the country. Their service is abysmal, with their reception perpetually closed - the shutters are literally always down. The doctors are completely useless, and securing an appointment is an exercise in frustration, with wait times stretching to weeks. My most recent appointment required a three-week wait. When I attempted to schedule a consultation about my medication and express my concerns about the lengthy delay, they merely sent an email for a repeat prescription without addressing my specific dosage worries. Despite my reservations, I completed the prescription request because I desperately needed my medication. Predictably, I never received a response, and the prescription was never forwarded to the pharmacy. Frustrated, I discontinued my tablets. Unsurprisingly, my mental health deteriorated, and I'm now back on medication. To make matters worse, their online system is preventing me from booking an appointment, and I'm left with barely half a tablet. I'm essentially back where I started. This medical practice is not just bad - they are monumentally, unbelievably terrible. Anyone reading this: stay far away from this disaster of a healthcare provider.

Worst medical experience ever frustrating and unprofessional

Completely worthless medical service. Scheduled for a morning consultation and instructed to pick up diabetes medication from the pharmacy, but no prescription was received. Called the doctor's office, who claimed it would be processed by 4:30 PM. It's now Saturday morning, and still no prescription has been sent. An absolute embarrassment.

Riverside surgery fails patients with terrible service

Riverside Surgery continues to disappoint! It's absolutely mind-boggling how incompetent this medical practice truly is! I submitted a request for a fit note to aid my recovery from surgery on January 27th, 2025, and they scheduled a telephone consultation for February 20th, 2025! How utterly ridiculous! As a result, I'll now forfeit two weeks of wages and potentially face workplace disciplinary action! There are simply no courteous terms to adequately express my frustration with this so-called 'organization'! Once again, Bulbanks was an excellent surgery before Riverside Surgery acquired and systematically dismantled its effectiveness! I'll definitely be exploring the NHS complaints process to ensure this place receives a thorough investigation.

Disrespectful and dismissive healthcare reception nightmare

During my visit to Riverside Surgery - Pier Road Branch on (19/11/24), I experienced a profoundly distressing encounter that left me feeling marginalized and disrespected as a patient with a disability. My husband attempted to check me in at the reception desk, given my reduced mobility, but was blatantly ignored for approximately 10 minutes. The receptionist continued typing, deliberately avoiding acknowledging our presence. Struggling with the situation, I tried using the self-check-in kiosk, which failed to recognize my appointment. Forced to approach the reception area myself with my walking stick, I was once again completely overlooked. The receptionist seemed to deliberately render me invisible. Only when another patient casually approached the desk did the receptionist become suddenly attentive. After serving that individual, I mentioned my blood test appointment. She demanded a form I had been previously told was unnecessary when scheduling. Her response was confrontational and unhelpful. The receptionist insisted I could not have my blood specimen taken without the form—a document she could have easily printed herself. Her behavior suggested a deliberate attempt to create obstacles and cause unnecessary stress. The interaction felt like a calculated effort to frustrate and discourage me. Being systematically ignored, dismissed, and compelled to repeatedly explain myself was profoundly dehumanizing. I felt utterly humiliated, as though my disability rendered me insignificant. By the interaction's conclusion, I was barely containing my emotional distress, wondering why I was being treated so callously in a healthcare environment. This experience represents an egregious failure of customer service, particularly concerning for patients with disabilities who already navigate significant healthcare challenges.

Google needs a rating below zero! I've been stuck waiting five days for a prescription refill that should have been automatic, and the process was an absolute nightmare. When I called to inquire about my medication, their only explanation was that no doctor was available to approve it, and then they abruptly ended the call. Steer clear of this complete mess!!!

Frustrating experience at local medical practice

I stopped by this morning seeking a straightforward item—a Diabetic recording Diary—and was met with blank stares from three receptionists. After I recommended they consult a nurse, I received the diary within moments. I'm deeply disappointed with this practice; despite my long-standing loyalty, my confidence in them has completely evaporated. It's perplexing why, when patients desire a doctor's consultation, only nurse or practitioner appointments are available, yet the surgery consistently looks deserted.

Frustrating healthcare experience with impossible appointments

I'm deeply frustrated by the challenges of scheduling a doctor's appointment and the constant run-around with medical staff. The appointment booking system is completely dysfunctional - they send a link where no time slots are actually open. The website claims that if you can't secure an appointment within 24 hours, you should contact the surgery. When I reached out, the receptionist essentially told me to keep attempting to book for a week. She even acknowledged that the website information is misleading but offered no solution, simply suggesting I continue my futile attempts. This entire process is absolutely exasperating!
