Frustrating gp registration nightmare with conflicting rules

During my visit to the general practitioner's office today, they refused to process my registration despite me presenting my identification and providing the same documents they had previously requested. At the clinic, they insisted that I needed to show proof of address to register, but upon checking the NHS guidelines at home, I discovered that this requirement is not actually mandatory.

Despite encountering competent physicians, I'm consistently frustrated by the inexplicable delays at every single appointment. No matter the scheduled time, I invariably find myself waiting for three-quarters of an hour. It seems utterly implausible that they're perpetually behind schedule like this!!!!

Worst medical experience ever terrible service

Utterly appalling service!!!! Following guidance from 111 and their online platform suggesting I could receive treatment for a pressing medical concern, I was dismissively turned away and curtly instructed to "go to the emergency room". I strongly advise steering clear of this practice if at all possible, as the experience of attempting to register and secure an urgent consultation was absolutely deplorable.

Terrible customer service from unprofessional medical staff

I attempted to contact the clinic by phone on two separate occasions and was greeted by an incredibly discourteous receptionist who displayed a clear lack of enthusiasm and appeared completely disengaged. When my partner also tried to schedule an appointment, the same staff member abruptly terminated the call and was extremely unhelpful during subsequent attempts to communicate. Despite being long-standing patients at this practice for four years and typically requiring minimal medical assistance, we have consistently encountered an unacceptably rude representative. As a result, we are actively seeking to transfer our medical care to another surgery as soon as possible.

The entire team at Riverside surgery, from physicians to nursing staff and front desk personnel, are incredibly warm and welcoming. Unprofessional clinic with terrible patient care and delays

Misplaced my medical test documentation, inadequate expertise and guidance regarding hormone replacement therapy. Stuck in the waiting area for over an hour with my toddler. Reception staff repeatedly assured me it would be quick, but the physician showed no remorse for the delay and displayed an unpleasant demeanor.

I've only visited this medical practice a few times, and each encounter has been problematic. The receptionist consistently dismissed my concerns, claiming nothing was wrong—despite the fact that I actually had four herniated discs in my spine. Needless to say, I absolutely cannot recommend this surgical procedure to anyone else!
