Patient Experience Summary

Feedback reveals significant challenges with appointment access and booking systems, which emerge as the practice's most persistent issue. Patients report difficulty securing timely consultations through both phone and online channels, with extended waiting times and limited availability frequently cited. Reception experience is notably inconsistent, with some staff described as helpful and responsive while others are characterised as discourteous and unhelpful, creating an uneven service experience across interactions.

Communication failures appear throughout the feedback, including missed follow-ups, delayed prescription processing, and inadequate information provision during initial contact. Several patients describe feeling dismissed or not listened to during consultations, with concerns about care quality and professional competence raised across multiple reviews. A smaller number of positive experiences highlight responsive staff, compassionate care, and efficient service, though these remain outweighed by accounts of organisational dysfunction and staff inconsistency.

The practice's systems for managing appointments, prescriptions, and patient communication require substantial improvement to address the widespread frustration evident in feedback. While some individual staff members receive praise for their support and professionalism, systemic issues with access, organisation, and responsiveness appear to be the primary drivers of patient dissatisfaction.

Excellent care and clear communication

Very professional and attentive doctor who listens carefully to my concerns. Dr. LEFEUVRE YANN explains all the options and action plans clearly in easy-to-understand language. Appointments are handled fairly on a case-by-case basis, and the online system works very well. The practice is clean, well maintained, with clean toilets, and overall a pleasant place to visit.

Bad practice

I have contacted the practice through accurex, and told them that I had flu symptoms and I was dizzy for three days. I told them that I coughed up blood and requested a doctor appointment. They referred me to the pharmacist. I was seen by the pharmacist who told me that she will refer me back to the go, as she couldn’t help with my symptoms. Next day, I submitted another request by accurex. I told them that the pharmacist couldn’t help and that I need to be seen by a doctor, they referred me to a different pharmacist who couldn’t help either. I decided to go to A&E, and I have been diagnosed with a non consolidated chest infection. This is one example of the way they treat their patients. I’ve decided to register with another practice.

Frustrating appointment system drives patient crazy

Scheduling a doctor's appointment here is incredibly frustrating. The clinic only allows bookings through their website, and you're restricted to specific time windows. Even if you're quick to log in early, there's a good chance the slots will already be full due to limited capacity. I've been attempting to secure an appointment with my general practitioner for weeks now, and the staff provide absolutely no assistance or alternative solutions. Their booking system seems designed to make patients' lives difficult.

Terrible service avoid this gp practice now

If you're registered with this medical practice, I strongly recommend seeking private healthcare coverage immediately, as their service is incredibly inadequate. The front desk staff display a clear lack of professionalism, the medical treatment I've experienced has been well below acceptable standards, and any administrative tasks I've required have been excessively delayed. I concur with previous comments that Dr Lefeuvre is pleasant, and the overall quality of care seems to mirror the overwhelming pressures currently facing the National Health Service in the post-pandemic landscape.

Terrible service left me frustrated and disappointed

I'd gladly award zero stars if possible. Their new system requires online booking, and despite my clear request to consult a physician, I received a text suggesting treatment for a condition they haven't even diagnosed. When I attempted to reschedule, the appointments mysteriously vanished. As a result, I'm switching healthcare providers without hesitation.

Terrible customer service that left me frustrated

The front desk personnel were predominantly unaccommodating and discourteous, with a single exception. Their eagerness to terminate phone conversations, even when seeking elementary assistance, was glaringly apparent. They consistently failed to address even the most straightforward inquiries or provide adequate explanations.

Dangerous medical practice with zero patient compassion

I wish I could award them negative stars due to their complete disregard for patient welfare. It seems negligence permeates every level of this facility, from leadership down to medical staff and front desk personnel. This medical practice deserves serious scrutiny for potentially jeopardizing patients' health and safety.

Worst service ever terrible medical experience

Utterly worthless, not even worthy of a single star. Completely ineffective service. You might as well resign yourself to waiting or rush to the emergency department, as they show zero concern or urgency.

Nightmare medical practice with zero patient care

Absolutely dreadful. Their new booking system restricts appointments to online reservations before 2pm, making scheduling incredibly challenging. The reception staff are completely unhelpful and unaccommodating. I was reprimanded for being five minutes late to an appointment, despite being initially directed to the wrong area by their own staff. Later, they kept us waiting 20 minutes for vaccinations, which caused my baby to become unsettled and upset, unnecessarily escalating the stress of the entire situation. They show zero concern for the difficulties patients face when trying to secure appointments. Multiple times, I've observed patients confronting staff out of pure frustration - whether over medication issues or regarding poor treatment of patients, like a young mother who was poorly handled. An absolutely terrible medical practice.

Terrible medical practice with terrible customer service

Their service is a complete waste of time. Booking an appointment is so convoluted that most patients give up before succeeding. Last week, they booked me with a doctor who wasn't even working, despite my request for a female physician. This morning was my only available slot before next week, so I squeezed it between work hours and arrived just 6 minutes late. They tried to reschedule me, even though their own confirmation message states rescheduling is only required if you're more than 10 minutes late. I was then made to wait an additional 10 minutes in the waiting room before the doctor arbitrarily refused to see me. The service is absolutely atrocious, and the staff demonstrates remarkable incompetence. UPDATE: The GP privately messaged me, claiming their staff aren't lazy and blaming me for the situation. When I attempted to respond, messaging was blocked. I challenge them to review their CCTV, which will confirm I didn't exceed the late arrival threshold and was deliberately kept waiting until past the appointment time. It's unsurprising they have less than a two-star rating. I haven't even touched on their consistent prescription errors and delays...

Frustrating gp practice with impossible appointment system

I have (mercifully) just transferred to a different GP practice outside London. In just one week, I've received more attentive care than during an entire year at my previous surgery. I want to be clear that I'm not targeting specific staff. Dr Lefeuvre is genuinely caring and well-intentioned, yet seemingly overwhelmed. Seeing other doctors has been nearly impossible due to appointment scarcity. This is fundamentally the practice's core issue. Their appointment and online administrative systems are bewilderingly complex, constantly shifting, and completely unreliable. Essentially impenetrable. Even if you somehow secure an appointment or referral, there's zero follow-up care. The entire experience is disorganized, perplexing, and emotionally draining - especially when managing health challenges. While understanding NHS pressures, I had resigned myself to accepting substandard service as the new normal. However, my recent experience has been revelatory. I've now encountered the level of patient care that was once standard across GP practices. Quality healthcare clearly still exists. Regrettably, it's absent from this particular surgery. I cannot confidently speak about other local practices. My strongest recommendation is to avoid joining this practice - unless you're young, healthy, without dependents, and possess limitless patience and energy. In which case, you'd hardly require medical attention anyway.

Incompetent doctor dismisses serious skin concerns

I opted to bypass my Bupa insurance's potentially time-consuming process, recalling previous positive experiences with doctors at this clinic, and submitted an online request with detailed photos and symptom descriptions: sudden dark raised spots on my neck and head after sun exposure, and a lip lump. An older male doctor (whose name escapes me, but contained a K) saw me. From the consultation's start, communication was challenging. His speech was nearly inaudible, his explanations incomprehensible, and our mutual understanding was minimal. He persistently claimed no lumps existed on my neck and head, despite my repeated clarifications that these were rapidly multiplying pigmented spots, not lumps - with the actual lump being on my inner lip. I explicitly pointed out the spots on my neck, yet he continued pressing and searching while mumbling "nothing's here" and seemingly deaf to my explanations. I articulated my concerns four different ways, yet comprehension remained elusive. When I reiterated the inner lip lump, he immediately declared it a salivary gland - which was patently incorrect. Its location was nowhere near actual salivary glands, a fact easily verifiable through basic research. Most astonishingly, he attributed the neck marks to a 9-carat gold necklace. I emphasized it was 18-carat and that I have no gold allergies, but he stubbornly maintained his incorrect assertion. I was bewildered - consulting a skin professional only to receive unsolicited, inaccurate jewelry commentary. Ultimately, he dismissed everything as "cosmetic" and summarily sent me home. No examinations, no substantive advice, no referral - even after I explicitly mentioned my family's cancer history. I was utterly stunned. This appointment was completely futile. I'm relieved to have private insurance and will definitely utilize it moving forward. But what about those without such options? We're discussing people's health - not something to be casually disregarded.

Great service at royal arsenal medical practice

Upon relocating to Royal Arsenal Riverside, I was initially apprehensive about selecting this medical practice due to its poor online reputation. However, my personal experience has been entirely positive – the staff have been professional and competent, and I've encountered no difficulties scheduling appointments or obtaining medical care. While I acknowledge that the negative feedback in previous reviews may have legitimate origins, and there's always potential for enhancement, I firmly believe this practice does not merit such a low overall rating. Therefore, I'm contributing a 5-star review to help balance the perception and provide a more accurate representation of their service quality.

Incompetent gp destroyed my mental health journey

My ADHD medication referral, which was supposed to be processed six months ago, has been completely stalled by this GP practice, leaving me in continuous distress. The staff are utterly disorganized and incompetent, seemingly clueless about their own procedures and forcing patients to submit countless redundant administrative forms for a single issue. I'm astounded that since switching to this GP, I've actually regressed in my treatment progress and have been enduring daily struggles with my symptoms, receiving zero assistance or compassion.

Unprofessional doctor ruins patient's healthcare experience

I've been a patient at this medical center for nearly four years, and my first confrontation was with Dr. Nnaji Ugochi. I questioned her unprofessional communication style when I was merely seeking the most effective solution for my son and myself, especially after their website's automated response was useless in addressing my severe chest pain and persistent cough. "Disappointing" doesn't even begin to capture the experience. I was essentially silenced and dismissed during the interaction. Healthcare providers need to significantly improve their approach to patient care.

Worst veterinary clinic ever avoid at all costs

The front desk employees display a complete lack of professionalism, and the physicians are utterly incompetent, particularly when dealing with pediatric patients. They seem to go to extraordinary lengths to avoid seeing patients, and I've never encountered such difficult medical staff in my life. Despite the waiting area consistently being devoid of people, I now understand why. This practice is so terrible that I'd recommend taking your pet to a veterinarian instead - they would likely provide more compassionate and effective care.

Terrible medical care risking patient's life and health

My sister has been attempting to secure a specialist consultation for two months, with general practitioners dismissively claiming she's fine or potentially pregnant, without conducting any proper examination. Such blatant unprofessionalism! We submitted a complaint, and ironically, manager Jolanta is defending her staff's subpar conduct. The consequences of such negligence are grave: people worldwide are losing their lives to cancer due to delayed responses and misguided medical advice from incompetent GPs!!!! I am determined to escalate this matter to higher authorities!
