I am giving this a rating of three stars primarily due to the dedication shown by the hardworking doctors, nurses, and reception staff. However, I feel compelled to express my disappointment regarding my experience with one particular male doctor who is quite recognized at this clinic. I requested a specific hormonal pill because I had previously encountered issues with other medications. Having been on the same pill for several years without any problems, I felt confident in making this request. The doctor informed me that he does not determine which medication I will receive; that responsibility lies with the pharmacist. When I approached the pharmacist about it, unfortunately, they provided me with the very pill that had caused significant mental and physical distress in the past—a medication that I explicitly asked to avoid. I trust my pharmacist completely; they reiterated that it is indeed necessary for a doctor to prescribe exact medications rather than leaving it up to their discretion alone. It feels as though this particular doctor dismissed my concerns simply to cut costs for NHS expenditures. During our conversation, when I mentioned traveling to Asia for an extended period soon and needing alternative medication—one known for its adverse effects on me—I ended up feeling deeply depressed and sick every day over those two months while taking it. In an ironic twist of fate, just two months earlier this same physician suggested that neither my PCOS nor recent gallbladder surgery were responsible for my weight gain but instead accused me of being greedy due to overeating. Anyone who knows me understands how health-conscious I've always been; if only he had taken time to review my medical history or considered my struggles with both eating disorders and depression—perhaps his statements would have reflected greater awareness? For female patients seeking care in similar situations: please consider requesting either a female physician or one young male practitioner known for genuinely listening! On another note worth mentioning—the reason I'm alive today can be attributed directly to a female doctor at this practice who identified complications during my mother's pregnancy which her regular male physician neglected entirely. There is undoubtedly more work required concerning women's health care!

Typically, I'm critical of this general practice, but on this particular visit, I was thoroughly impressed by the receptionist Kerry. After I explained my brother's learning disability, she demonstrated exceptional understanding of his challenges with medical appointments, particularly his anxiety stemming from autism and unfamiliar environments. Kerry effectively communicated my brother's situation to Dr Remi, who subsequently treated him with remarkable compassion and sensitivity. Her professional approach was further highlighted when she unexpectedly used sign language to communicate with my brother, which genuinely surprised me. In my opinion, Kerry would be a far superior replacement for Mary, the morning receptionist who is notoriously unpleasant and consistently disrespectful to patients at this clinic.

I am extremely thankful to the doctors, nurses, and all personnel at Rush Green Medical Centre. I visited them for a check-up regarding my angina. During that appointment, I unfortunately experienced a heart attack. Fortunately, this occurred while I was already in the presence of medical staff. The physician who was attending to me responded with remarkable speed as the situation unfolded; without any delay, he called for an ambulance. The response from the ambulance team was impressively swift. Therefore, once more, I want to express my gratitude to everyone at the clinic for their care and support on that day. When I scheduled my appointment, the nurse informed me that it was set for 10:20. I arrived early, at 10:15, only to be met by the receptionist (a woman wearing glasses) who insisted that I was late and that my appointment had actually been at 10:10. Despite showing her the confirmation text indicating the time of 10:20, she continued to assert that I had missed my appointment and would need to wait. After sitting for an hour past my scheduled time without being called in, I decided to leave due to inadequate service and rudeness from the receptionist.
