Difficult to reach and last-minute appointment changes

Unable to reach the practice by telephone, and appointments scheduled to see a clinician in person are frequently changed to telephone consultations at short notice without adequate consideration for patients' circumstances.

Receptionist was dismissive and hard to understand

The receptionist at the front desk was difficult to communicate with and came across as unwelcoming. Obtaining the right medication, updating prescriptions, and receiving assistance proved to be challenging. Scheduling an appointment was particularly problematic.

Promised callback never arrived

I called yesterday requesting an urgent appointment. I was informed that a clinician would contact me to follow up. I remained available throughout the day anticipating the callback, which unfortunately did not materialise. This is the second occasion this has occurred. I am providing three stars as the care I receive when I am able to be seen is satisfactory.

Long waits with no updates given

Don't anticipate being seen at your scheduled appointment time or anywhere near it. Don't expect any communication or consideration when you've been waiting significantly longer than your booked slot. Quite disappointing.

Reception staff could be friendlier here

I have significant anxiety and prefer to see a particular clinician who is excellent and clearly demonstrates genuine care. There are a couple of reception staff members who can come across as rather curt and dismissive, but aside from that it's a wonderful practice. The nursing staff are also lovely and show real compassion. It's unfortunate that the time constraints imposed on nursing appointments are so tight compared to doctor appointments, which inevitably creates pressure on the team. We're people, not items to be processed quickly, so I'm grateful to those staff members who make the effort to go above and beyond to help.

Easy to book appointments online or by phone

Outstanding care throughout my time as a patient, having attended since childhood across multiple locations. The service here is exceptional and having experienced other medical practices, I can confidently say this one stands out as superior. Appointments are readily available whether needed in person or via telephone, and whilst you may not always see your preferred clinician, this is a minor consideration given the option to book online and select your chosen healthcare professional. The ability to manage repeat prescriptions through the system is also very convenient. Every member of the team demonstrates genuine warmth and friendliness. Over the past five years, particularly following a significant health challenge, I can genuinely say the practice has provided outstanding support and care.
