Terrible phone service ruins an otherwise great medical practice

Reaching reception has become an almost impossible task, and even when contact is made, appointment availability seems non-existent. I'm currently trapped in a 42-minute phone limbo, with absolute silence replacing what used to be hold music and automated messages after the first half hour. I'm hesitant to disconnect, terrified of losing my tenuous place in what might be a phantom queue. On the rare occasions I've successfully secured an appointment, the actual medical care is outstanding. The nurse practitioners, in particular, are incredibly skilled and compassionate - I've consistently received top-notch treatment. My sole complaint revolves around the maddening challenge of simply establishing initial contact by telephone. Still waiting... fingers crossed for a breakthrough!

Worst medical care ever avoid at all costs

Sandy lane surgery - absolutely wouldn't recommend this terrible place to anyone, turning away a patient struggling to breathe and delaying prescription refills until the next business day. The receptionist was incredibly unprofessional, rudely dismissing patients with a curt "k thanks bye" as they leave. The management is equally unhelpful, refusing to address complaints and giving the runaround with repeated instructions to "call back Monday at 8am, call back Tuesday at 8am". Furious doesn't even begin to describe how I'm feeling.

Frustrating booking system ruins otherwise perfect practice

The medical professionals here are top-notch... However, the appointment scheduling process is a significant drawback. To secure a slot, you must phone precisely at 8am and essentially cross your fingers. There's no voicemail option, just an infuriating experience of being stuck on hold, listening to the same monotonous music and a repetitive automated message on loop.

Booking process was an absolute nightmare. Spent more than half an hour attempting to schedule an appointment, only to be repeatedly met with a "This phone is temporarily unavailable" message. Completely unacceptable service.

Terrible service and impossible to book an appointment

Booking an appointment with this place is a complete nightmare. They are completely unresponsive and provide no method for leaving a message, making it practically impossible to schedule anything. To make matters worse, their published hours are completely inaccurate. They claim to be open until 6:30 pm, but when I attempted to call at 12:45 on a Wednesday, the place was shut tight. What an absolute embarrassment of a business!

Absurd This has to be the most terrible medical procedure imaginable. Certainly not typically this disastrous. I deeply appreciate our national health service Sandy Lane clinic is absolutely embarrassing and completely failing in their responsibilities!!!!!

I'm frustrated that they call at 8am when they're clearly swamped - isn't the whole point to provide more efficient service? Aside from this issue, the general practitioners themselves are actually quite capable.

Absolutely impossible to reach anyone—the receptionist seems to have permanently disconnected their phone line! These doctors are utterly incompetent, and I'm convinced they're squandering precious National Health Service resources.
