Reception staff made booking straightforward and easy

I registered with the practice a few months ago and have had a very positive experience overall. I have attended several appointments, both for myself and accompanying a family member, and both of us have been seen promptly and efficiently, with helpful follow-up care provided. This practice has been deeply disappointing. Following a recent appointment, my family member was discharged without receiving appropriate support, and she passed away shortly afterwards. Since then, my relatives have been attempting to obtain necessary documentation from the practice for over a week without success. The staff have come across as unprofessional and insensitive throughout this difficult time, and the overall handling of both the clinical care and subsequent administrative matters has been inadequate. I believe the relevant regulatory bodies should investigate this practice urgently to address these serious concerns and ensure proper accountability for what appears to be a significant failure in service standards.

After submitting a request through the NHS app, I received a call from a clinician on the same day. They determined that an in-person consultation was necessary, and I was promptly offered and given an appointment that same day. I was then directed to attend a hospital unit immediately, where I received appropriate care. The entire process from the surgery was excellent, and I'm very grateful for the swift and efficient service.

After waiting on the telephone for an extended period, a courteous member of the reception team eventually picked up my call. I have been experiencing health concerns for several weeks and felt it was necessary to arrange a consultation. The earliest available appointment with a clinical practitioner is several weeks away, while seeing a doctor would require waiting even longer. I am uncertain how to manage my situation during this interim period. Whilst I have not typically required medical attention, the current circumstances are causing me considerable concern.

Receptionists were helpful and genuinely pleasant

I relocated from an unsatisfactory practice earlier this year, where I had been a patient for many years, to my current surgery which is part of a larger medical group, and I'm genuinely pleased with the decision. I've needed to get in touch only twice this year, and on both occasions the reception team have been excellent, supportive and genuinely friendly. Recently I had a telephone consultation seeking guidance on a health matter, and the support and advice I received was outstanding. The healthcare professional I spoke with was calming, positive and showed genuine care and attention. It's been such a welcome change compared to my previous experience. I would highly recommend this practice.
