Staff patience makes waits more bearable
I had to deduct two stars, as I feel the service has declined somewhat over the past year due to external circumstances. However, I'm not inclined to make comparisons. On a positive note, the team members are genuinely compassionate and demonstrate remarkable patience; I haven't encountered any negative experiences during my visits to the practice. That said, if I could suggest an area for improvement, it would be reducing waiting times to consult with clinical staff; however, like many healthcare facilities, the practice appears to be operating under considerable pressure regardless of circumstances.

Reception privacy could be improved here
I have been attending this practice for many years and have consistently found the clinical staff to be very supportive and approachable. There were some concerns regarding a couple of reception team members in the past, though this appears to have been resolved. My main reservation relates to privacy at the reception desk, where conversations can be overheard by other patients. I would prefer if confidential discussions could take place in a more private setting, such as behind a closed door. Overall, I would be happy to recommend the clinical team here.

What can I say! The service provided was excellent, and I was treated with patience, kindness and understanding. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to all the clinical staff members who recently provided care during a period of illness requiring treatment. The entire team at the practice has been absolutely wonderful, and we cannot thank them enough. As a family, we are incredibly grateful for the exceptional effort made by everyone at the practice to support our health and wellbeing. We truly appreciate the comprehensive care and attention we have received. We would also like to give special thanks to the emergency responders who attended to us. They were fantastic and provided reassurance during a worrying time, conducting thorough assessments and offering helpful guidance about the recovery process ahead. To everyone working within the NHS, we extend our heartfelt thanks for the excellent care, treatment and service you provide. We feel very fortunate to have access to such a wonderful healthcare system. Friendly GPs who genuinely listen to concerns
The medical professionals at this practice are exceptionally approachable and comprehensive in their patient care. They demonstrate genuine concern for those they treat and take time to hear what patients have to say. I can speak to this having observed numerous consultations across the practice. This is a surgery I would strongly recommend to others.

Reception attitude made registration difficult
Haven't completed registration yet as I visited to collect the registration paperwork and found the reception staff's demeanor quite off-putting. The forms request information that appears to be for statistical purposes only, which I'm uncomfortable providing, and they're asking for an email address that I'm not willing to share. The form also indicates they will share data with various parties, which I feel raises consent concerns. I submitted the forms to see if the experience would improve. Since then, I've noticed the reception experience varies depending on which staff member I interact with. During my visits, I've felt that some staff members have been less accommodating, and I've experienced what felt like a lack of understanding regarding my needs. I've had previous negative experiences with certain healthcare providers that have made me hesitant about my care going forward. Given the difficulties I've encountered during the registration process, I'm uncertain about continuing as a patient here. The overall experience has been frustrating, and I have concerns about how the practice handles patient interactions and data management. I would welcome improvements in how the practice treats all patients, and I intend to provide feedback about my experience.

Staff treated us with genuine kindness and patience
My spouse and I find ourselves puzzled when we encounter certain reviews of this practice. We have consistently experienced nothing but warmth, understanding, assistance, thoughtfulness and above all, outstanding care and attention from every member of staff at this surgery, regardless of their role. We equally wish to acknowledge the same calibre of support and care we have received from the broader healthcare services we have engaged with. The list of those deserving our gratitude is extensive. We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to all involved, and we hope each person recognises how deeply thankful we are for our wellbeing and for knowing that their commitment and effort have enabled us to enjoy improved quality of life. The reception team have consistently been excellent, always welcoming and helpful with a positive demeanor. I have been very satisfied with my experiences at this practice overall. However, during a recent appointment with a new clinician, I found the interaction to be unsatisfactory and felt the manner was unprofessional. I am considering making a formal complaint about this visit. Apart from this recent experience, I have had no previous concerns with the practice.

When I finally got to see the clinician, they were pleasant and friendly, though they appeared to be unwell with a respiratory infection. My scheduled appointment time came and went, and I was eventually seen approximately fifty minutes later, but nobody from the reception team acknowledged or explained the wait.
