A recently added staff member displays an arrogant and incompetent attitude when patients attempt to access healthcare services. Concerns raised are consistently dismissed, with no meaningful response from management, who frequently seem unavailable or absent. This results in significant medication delays accompanied by a series of unconvincing explanations such as technical problems, uncooperative personnel, and a complete absence of compassion for patient experiences. STEER CLEAR.

Quick help for my urinary issue

Exceptional medical care, incredibly efficient, I reached out to the reception yesterday afternoon, described my health concerns, and was promptly invited to provide a urine sample. Within approximately 90 minutes, the physician contacted me directly, requested I visit the clinic for a thorough examination, and subsequently prescribed medication. The responsiveness and quality of service were truly impressive.

I hear so many of my friends having issues with their GPs but Selly spark surgery has always been wonderful and very helpful. They always answer the phone and anytime I've had issues with my children they've given me an appointment for that day to see the GP. All staff really helpful and friendly.

Waited months for confusing medical chaos

Absolutely disastrous!!!!! You're forced to endure a two-month wait for an appointment, then another month for blood test results, which are then presented in incomprehensible medical jargon that only doctors can decipher. They expect you to interpret these results on your own! When I requested another appointment to have the results explained, that took yet another month!!!! I'm struggling with persistent bloating and have no idea what's causing it. I suspect a food intolerance and have been dealing with this for nearly six months. A "Doctor" advised me to wait another two months and retake the test, claiming only my thyroid hormone was imbalanced. I registered for another blood test, waited a month for results, and received another indecipherable paper - it's becoming laughably ridiculous. 😂 The receptionist booked me for September 4th at 11 am, but a few days prior, I received a text suggesting I arrive between 6:45 and 8:45. Fine, I didn't have time to call and clarify. I arrived around 8:20, and guess what? Surprise, surprise - the system showed no appointment. The staff behind the desk claimed my appointment was canceled by a colleague. Shouldn't they have contacted me about the change? Then they mentioned the "doctor" was waiting for me at 7:45 🤣🤣 - that's the most hilarious part of the story. Why didn't anyone call me by then? They also switched my appointment from in-person to phone without my consent, despite my preference for a face-to-face meeting. So if it was a phone appointment at 7:45, was the doctor waiting for my call? 😂😂😂 He probably thought, "I'd rather grab breakfast" and got tired of waiting. In summary, absolutely zero communication. Extremely poor service 👎🏻👎🏻

Rude receptionist blocked our gp registration

I recently relocated to this neighborhood, and my partner and I were seeking to establish ourselves with a local GP. We utilized the NHS website to identify potential practices in our vicinity and followed a recommendation to register at this particular clinic. However, upon arrival, the receptionist was incredibly unhelpful and dismissively directed us to another GP practice known for its poor service. There was absolutely no valid justification for their refusal to register us, especially considering we reside within their designated area and their website explicitly states they accept all patients - though I'm now skeptical about the truthfulness of that claim.
