Terrible doctor with zero compassion and terrible service

Dr. King is nothing more than a dishonest individual. After speaking with the paramedic who was called out due to being unable to secure an appointment for a fortnight, they claimed they see all patients who call on the same day - which is laughable. This comes after spending three exhausting hours attempting to get through on the phone. Simply put, they're a terrible person with zero professionalism who consistently fabricates the truth. I strongly advise avoiding this medical practice entirely - it's completely ridiculous.

Worst medical service ever terrible experience

Absolutely frustrated with this medical practice. If there was an option for zero stars, I'd choose it. They've repeatedly cancelled my scheduled appointments, and I've been attempting to secure a doctor's visit for nearly a month and a half. Every single time I manage to book an appointment, it gets cancelled. To make matters worse, the staff's attitude is incredibly unprofessional and discourteous.

I cannot express enough admiration for Doctor Pinjani. I'm seriously contemplating writing to the Vatican, as this remarkable physician deserves sainthood. She listened attentively, asked precisely the right questions, and conducted the necessary examination with speed and professionalism, all while preserving my personal dignity. I was treated as an intelligent individual, with the confidence that I would fully comprehend her explanations. When scheduling my follow-up appointment in three months, I sincerely hope to see her again, though I understand scheduling constraints might prevent this. I believe she would be genuinely interested in my progress, and will personally write to her if my next appointment is with another doctor. Beyond addressing my medical concerns, she significantly improved my mental state that day. If only everyone understood the profound impact of compassionate communication on a person's well-being. The NHS would be transformative with more doctors like Doctor Pinjani. The reception service is a complete letdown, despite their claims of politeness and customer care! After being left on hold for an excessive 30 minutes, despite being first in line, the staff's attitude is anything but friendly and helpful. They consistently push patients towards an online consultation, which is completely unsuitable for my elderly father. Even when we attempted this digital process on his behalf, the result is always a frustrating waiting period, regardless of the patient's level of discomfort or urgency!! Is it any wonder that emergency departments are overwhelmed when primary care is this ineffective?

This medical practice has drastically declined from its previous reliable and welcoming state 4-5 years ago, now operating in total disarray. I requested a follow-up call on Tuesday and received a text claiming I'd get a call Saturday afternoon, which predictably never materialized. Despite receiving a confrontational email insisting a call was made, their communication is blatantly dishonest. Their incompetence spans every aspect of patient care, prompting me to transfer my medical records to a downtown clinic. My sincere sympathies go out to any patients still receiving treatment at Shakespeare road!!!!!!

Rude practitioner ruined my diabetic health appointment

I arrived for my diabetic consultation, slightly delayed due to a misunderstanding about the appointment time - an honest slip-up typical of someone with ADHD who already feels anxious about medical visits. The moment I entered, the practitioner Sara aggressively shouted "YOU'RE LATE" before I even realized my error. Her demeanor remained brusque and unwelcoming throughout our entire interaction. I'm seriously contemplating filing a formal complaint, as her behavior left me deeply distressed and emotionally unsettled for the entire day. Previously, I've always received excellent care from every other staff member at this practice, which made Sara's hostile approach all the more surprising and disappointing. I'm certain that if this complaint is raised, she'll likely attempt to minimize or deny her unprofessional conduct, claiming nothing inappropriate occurred behind closed doors. Her response was a cruel and thoroughly unprofessional overreaction to what was genuinely an innocent mistake.

Shocking neglect of diabetic patient by gp practice

I am utterly frustrated with the substandard care provided by Shakespeare Road GP. My elderly father, who relies on insulin and is a UK citizen, was abruptly and inexplicably removed from their patient roster without any warning. He had last collected his critical medication in late April, and at no point was he informed about potential account issues or impending "inactive" status. Consequently, his vital insulin prescription was discontinued, and the practice is adamantly refusing to reissue it unless he personally re-registers, which is impossible given his current overseas location. When we articulated the critical health risks and urgent nature of his situation, the staff displayed a shocking lack of empathy or willingness to assist. They callously suggested he purchase insulin in a foreign country, which is not only logistically challenging but entirely unacceptable considering his rightful entitlement to free NHS medication. The practice's complete disregard for patient welfare and their astonishing indifference is deeply troubling. Their negligent approach could potentially lead to severe medical complications. I emphatically caution anyone against choosing this practice. Their service is unreliable, and patient care is clearly not their priority.

not satisfied after waiting 5 days for a response to my online sick note request, i'm forced to return to my driving job despite a trapped nerve in my neck/shoulder, having exhausted my self-certification period. previously, i experienced a similar delay where i received a response 4 days later, compelling me to resume work with another medical issue. this service appears excessively sluggish, and i get the sense they lack genuine concern. additionally, i have a phone consultation scheduled for next saturday, which is over a week since my initial e-consult, and it's impossible to speak with an actual physician. i plan to cancel this pointless phone call, as seeking help seems futile at this stage.

Dangerous misdiagnosis puts patient's health at risk

At this GP practice, they seem to rely on mystical practitioners rather than medical expertise. The physician diagnoses conditions through a mere phone call, without physically seeing the patient. In my daughter's case, her persistent cough was dismissed as allergies, but a proper medical professional discovered it was actually a lung infection after a thorough in-person examination. What a ridiculous situation.

A complete lack of medical expertise. Absolutely no assistance from the personnel. The front desk employees are consistently rude and unhelpful, pretending to be courteous. I strongly advise against visiting this clinic. Their attitude towards patients is terrible, always claiming everything is fine while providing no real support. The elderly woman with long brown hair at reception seems perpetually dissatisfied and appears to work there begrudgingly, not out of a desire to help anyone. An utterly disappointing and frustrating encounter.

This is the second occasion I'm submitting a 1-star review after previously being approached to remove it. In the past few weeks, I've encountered repeated appointment booking problems. Initially, I was told an appointment was confirmed, but upon checking my NHS app, I discovered no booking existed. The appointment then had to be rescheduled for a later date than originally planned. Now, once again, a scheduled phone appointment went unaddressed. Only after personally contacting the practice did I learn the appointment was cancelled because the assigned GP lacked sufficient expertise for the intended discussion. These repeated issues are causing significant delays and providing an utterly unacceptable patient experience. While I was informed the cancellation note had just arrived, the appointment was booked days earlier, and the responsible GP should have recognized their unsuitability for the consultation well in advance. Considering the consistent negative reviews from other patients, I intend to escalate these complaints through the Ombudsman, as it appears no meaningful improvements are being made despite ongoing feedback.

Our experience with this medical practice has been deeply frustrating on two significant occasions. Initially, they repeatedly missed critical diagnoses, dismissing our concerns despite our persistent efforts to highlight potential issues - and this negligence extended not just to us, but critically to our infant. Subsequently, when I sought clarification about a prescription, I was promised a callback that never materialized, forcing me to reinitiate contact. When attempting to follow up, I even offered to wait on hold during their notoriously slow response times of 30-60 minutes, but they remained unhelpful. They flatly refused to provide the name of the initial receptionist who had spoken with me. Their communication is absolutely abysmal, and the overall standard of care is unacceptable. Urgent and substantial improvements are absolutely essential.
