Unprofessional giggles ruin medical practice call
I called the clinic this morning seeking guidance about a health concern, and upon greeting the receptionist and asking how she was doing, I was met with awkward silence followed by giggles between her and another staff member. When I explained my medical issue and requested to communicate with a doctor, she put me on hold. Upon returning, she apologized but continued to laugh unprofessionally, after which the call disconnected. This experience represents the most unprofessional service I've encountered at this practice, which I've been visiting for years and has always been poorly managed. During the Covid-19 pandemic, such a lack of compassion and professionalism from a healthcare facility is particularly unacceptable. I strongly advise others to avoid Somerford Grove and instead register with The Nightingale Practice, which I will be doing immediately. The thought of someone with serious mental health issues receiving such a dismissive response is truly appalling. The entire interaction was completely unacceptable and deeply disappointing.

My typical doctor's appointment anxiety melted away during my visit to Somerford Grove Practice. Dr. Laura was absolutely exceptional - despite being at the end of an exhausting 10-hour shift, she was incredibly compassionate and welcoming. She instantly made me feel comfortable and provided attentive, kind care. Her professionalism and warmth were remarkable. The nursing staff were equally wonderful. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough - they truly set a gold standard for patient experience.

Terrible service and rude staff at local nhs practice
It's impossible to secure a same-day appointment for a young child, which I find utterly disgraceful. Such a large NHS practice is a complete misuse of healthcare resources. My monthly NHS contributions seem to be supporting these incompetent clinics. The receptionists are incredibly unprofessional and discourteous, representing a total waste of funding. I was stuck on the phone for 15 minutes today, from 18:25 on May 26th, and when the reception finally answered, they were in a rush to end the call. They were unwilling to listen to my concerns and abruptly informed me that their system shuts down at 18:30. I'm astounded by the type of personnel they hire - their conduct is both unbelievable and utterly insane.

Despite its architectural shortcomings, this facility is deeply unappealing both externally and internally. The welcome area feels unwelcoming and cold. The place is overwhelmed with patients, and scheduling an appointment seems impossible for weeks on end. If you require urgent medical attention, you'll find yourself waiting outside in line. However, there are some redeeming qualities. The online booking system is convenient, and you can complete check-in via a digital screen, effectively bypassing the uninviting front desk. The nursing staff are truly outstanding. The physicians are courteous and demonstrate high professional standards.

Dr. Ying Hau is absolutely the most incompetent physician imaginable. His bedside manner is shockingly disrespectful and completely unprofessional. I was appalled when he callously told my mother, 'If this headache hasn't killed you, you'll survive' - what kind of medical professional speaks to patients in such a heartless and dismissive way?

Unprofessional scheduling disrupts baby's critical health check
I was scheduled to see Doctor Hussein for my infant's six-week wellness exam. The front desk informed me that the original time slot had been changed due to a doctor's meeting that afternoon. While I understand medical professionals have important commitments, I firmly believe that once an appointment is confirmed with a patient, it should be honored - just as I am always punctual for my own scheduled meetings. As a result of this rescheduling, my baby will now be receiving his routine check-up when he is almost 11 weeks old, significantly later than initially planned.

I've consulted with three different general practitioners and a nurse, all of whom have been incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and supportive. The medical advice I've received here surpasses any previous experiences, particularly concerning toddler respiratory issues, immunizations, and birth control methods. Whenever I required prescriptions for antibiotics and iron during my pregnancy, the clinic contacted me promptly, offering me the option to collect or have the prescription mailed. Additionally, they sent a text reminder about scheduling my son's influenza vaccination. Overall, I've found this medical practice to be exceptional in every aspect and would enthusiastically recommend them to others.
