Reception team really helped with appointments
This is the best GP practice I've had in years. The reception team are kind and accommodating, and they always make an effort to arrange appointments promptly. The clinical staff demonstrate exceptional diagnostic skills and provide patient-centred advice. Waiting times for appointments are generally short, and the practice works well with the neighbouring pharmacy, which I would also recommend.

Reception staff dismissive and condescending on calls
This medical practice has deteriorated significantly, which is quite disappointing. The front desk team come across as rather unwelcoming and seem to look for opportunities to dismiss patients. On every occasion I have called, my interactions with the reception staff have been unpleasant, and I have found their manner condescending and dismissive. Their attitude suggests a lack of respect for patients. Overall, I would not recommend this practice, as there appears to be minimal genuine concern for patient wellbeing.

I've been attending this practice since childhood, and when my own child was born, it seemed like the natural choice to register them here as well. Unfortunately, the standard of care has declined considerably over time. The reception team deserves recognition as they are consistently helpful and professional, which makes the contrast with other areas of the practice quite stark. There appears to be significant staff turnover among the clinical team, with different practitioners seen regularly. During a recent visit with my child, after being directed to see a senior clinician by the nursing staff, the appointment felt rushed and impersonal. The consultation was brief, with minimal explanation provided beyond a general assessment, and the appointment concluded abruptly without any pleasantries or acknowledgment as we left. This lack of basic courtesy was disappointing and unlike what I've come to expect from healthcare professionals. The practice used to maintain higher standards of patient interaction and care.

It's consistently possible to secure an appointment when calling during business hours. The main drawback is the lengthy recorded message that plays when you phone in. It would be beneficial if there were an option to skip this message if you've heard it previously. Apart from that, the practice is of a high standard.

Couldn't see a doctor about my eye infection
I'm unable to access an appointment with a clinician regardless of the circumstances. When I had an eye concern, I was provided with medication without a face-to-face consultation. The receptionist suggested the issue was seasonal allergies, but I disagreed with this assessment based on my own experience with this condition over many years. When I tried to express my concerns, the call was ended. The practice continues to attribute various issues to pandemic-related factors despite services elsewhere having resumed normally. I'm also uncomfortable with the requirement to disclose my symptoms to reception staff rather than directly to a qualified healthcare professional.

Unsatisfactory experience at this medical practice. The reception team were difficult to reach by telephone. Staff interactions felt dismissive and unwelcoming. There were difficulties obtaining repeat medication authorisations.
