The staff at my practice, like many others, seem to make it difficult to secure an appointment.

Receptionists who actually go the extra mile

I genuinely appreciate this practice. We relocated from another area and switching to this surgery has genuinely been one of the positive aspects of the move. The reception team are incredibly supportive and consistently exceed expectations. Whenever discussions arise about surgery receptionists, I find myself thinking of the team here and feeling very thankful because they truly are exceptional.

Felt properly listened to and examined thoroughly

Attended an appointment in mid-November where the clinician listened carefully to my concerns, carried out a thorough examination, and explained the next steps clearly. Blood tests were arranged and completed. Following this, I received a follow-up call with further guidance on my care plan. I also received assistance from reception staff regarding an additional matter I had raised. A further team member helped coordinate my care and ensure everything was properly arranged with the clinician. I am grateful to all involved for the excellent standard of care, ongoing support, and for ensuring I received the appropriate help I needed.

I was really pleased with the service I received at my recent visit. I had been concerned that I might struggle to secure an appointment given the current circumstances, but the reception team were incredibly supportive in arranging one promptly. The clinician I saw was warm and approachable, and the pharmacy staff went the extra mile by checking other locations to source the medication I required when it wasn't immediately available. Every member of the team demonstrated a high standard of care.

This practice operates at a high capacity during normal circumstances, and the current situation has placed additional demands on the team. Every member of staff is giving their utmost effort to deliver excellent care. The clinical staff, support workers, administrative personnel, and those working behind the scenes are all doing their best to serve patients. I would particularly like to recognise the reception team, who are often the first point of contact and handle a considerable volume of patient interactions with professionalism. Day in and day out, they demonstrate commitment to supporting patients. The entire team works hard despite significant pressures, and they deserve recognition for their dedication. My family and I are very grateful for the service provided. I would absolutely recommend this practice to others.

The reception team demonstrated friendliness, pleasantness and considerable helpfulness throughout my visit. As a newly registered patient, I have only consulted with one clinician so far, and found them to be absolutely excellent. They were supportive and understanding, and made a genuine effort to help with my particular situation. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

Unhelpful reception staff who appear to overestimate their medical knowledge. The practice seems unwilling to retain patients who relocate outside the immediate vicinity. Disappointing experience overall.

I made the decision to change to this practice after feeling let down by my previous healthcare provider and their administrative team. I'm really pleased I made that switch, as the staff have been extremely supportive and the clinician I saw was outstanding! I was able to discuss my concerns, and they listened carefully before outlining their perspective and presenting me with several possible approaches. They also arranged a follow-up appointment to check that the chosen course of action was working well for me. Excellent service. When I arranged my initial appointment, there was a two-week wait for a non-urgent slot, but given that this appears to be fairly standard practice at the moment, I'm still very satisfied with the care I received ⭐
