I have made repeated calls to the surgery regarding additional test results and have been assured on several occasions that these would be followed up, though this has not materialised. Based on my experience, I would caution prospective patients against registering with this practice, as I would not wish others to encounter the same level of service that I have received. I would rate this practice at the lowest possible level, as I believe they fall significantly short of acceptable standards.

An excellent NHS surgery. Like all surgeries these days, they're clearly very busy. But they've demonstrated multiple times for me and my family that they're there for you when you need them. The website also doesn't function properly for me, which makes accessing medical support even more challenging. My wife is someone who dislikes taking up the doctor's time and is reluctant to make appointments even when unwell. Over the past 2 years she has experienced persistent neck pain, and I encouraged her to seek medical advice. When she eventually agreed, I was pleased. However, when she contacted the practice to arrange an appointment, she was unable to obtain one and was instead advised by reception staff to purchase over-the-counter pain relief from a pharmacy. Following her request for further support, she was offered a self-referral to a musculoskeletal clinic at the hospital. The appointment came through after a 3-month wait, but the clinician indicated that their options for treatment were limited. Imaging was not recommended, with the explanation that it was unlikely to be helpful. I subsequently arranged private imaging, which revealed a structural issue with the cervical spine that may account for her prolonged pain. I feel that both the GP practice and the hospital clinic fell short of the standard of care I would have expected, and I am disappointed with how her concerns were handled.
