Feedback reflects a mixed experience across the practice. Clinical care quality is consistently praised, with patients describing thorough, attentive appointments and professional healthcare staff who demonstrate genuine concern for patient wellbeing. However, significant challenges emerge around appointment access and booking experience. Multiple patients report lengthy waits for routine appointments, difficulty reaching the practice by telephone, and a booking system that relies heavily on participation in telephone-based slots. Reception experience is inconsistent, with some patients noting helpful and courteous staff while others describe indifference or lack of flexibility during urgent situations. Additional concerns include delayed test result communication, limited communication channels for contacting the practice, and insufficient parking availability. Some patients have experienced issues with reception staff courtesy and responsiveness to telephone inquiries. Despite these administrative challenges, many patients acknowledge the practice's clinical excellence and note that when urgent care is needed, patients are generally prioritised and seen promptly. The practice environment is described as welcoming by those who access it successfully, though accessibility of the service itself remains a significant barrier for many.
Patients who have experienced positive outcomes often highlight the quality of clinical consultations, which are described as unhurried and comprehensive. The triage system receives mixed feedback, with some finding it effective while others report it as ineffective. Reception staff demonstrate variable performance, with particular praise for helpfulness and friendliness in some instances, contrasting with reports of staff appearing unengaged or dismissive in others. Several patients have noted improvements over time, suggesting the practice is working to address previous concerns.
Key service improvement areas identified include streamlining appointment booking processes, improving telephone responsiveness, enhancing reception staff training and consistency, and establishing alternative communication channels such as email. Patients recognise the practice operates within resource constraints but emphasise that administrative barriers should not prevent access to the clinical care that is otherwise well-regarded.

Excellent!
Quick appointment when we needed it most
Required an appointment for my child who needed to be seen urgently. Called the practice and was able to secure a slot within a few hours. The staff member who assisted with the booking was very helpful and courteous. Much appreciated.

Bad!
Turned away without assessment due to registration status
I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this surgery. My young child had sustained an injury and was displaying concerning symptoms, so I attended the nearest medical centre seeking urgent assessment. However, as my child was not registered with the practice, we were unable to be seen and were directed to attend the accident and emergency department instead. Given the nature of the situation, I felt that a brief evaluation could have been provided. I was frustrated by what I perceived as a lack of flexibility and support during what felt like a potentially serious matter. I do not plan to register with this practice in the foreseeable future.

Bad!
Parking shortage and long appointment waits
Limited car parking availability and insufficient staffing at the reception desk were notable issues. Having relocated multiple times across the UK, I found this facility to be the most challenging I have experienced. The local authority appears to have permitted substantial residential development in the vicinity without adequately accounting for the increased demand this would place on the practice. Obtaining an appointment within a fortnight is currently difficult, with availability largely dependent on participating in the telephone booking system.

Bad!
Long wait, then scolded for pharmacist advice
Unfortunately, I experienced a lengthy wait of several weeks to see a healthcare professional for a routine matter. During this time, I sought guidance from a pharmacy professional. When I eventually attended my appointment, I was reprimanded for using a product that hadn't been formally prescribed to me. Ironically, the prescription I subsequently received was identical to what the pharmacy professional had previously recommended.
