Frustrating healthcare with unhelpful front desk staff

The front desk staff seems inexperienced with scheduling, and her loud radio makes any conversation nearly incomprehensible. Getting an appointment is a nightmare, with availability seemingly limited to routine blood work only. Their online booking system is completely useless, never generating a response or securing a slot. Despite repeatedly receiving text reminders about flu shots, the automated phone system is dysfunctional and repeatedly drops calls. I once held this medical practice in high regard, but now it has deteriorated into a frustrating experience.

They ought to simply secure the entrance. I attempted to seek medical assistance for a sinus infection. The staff informed me that no telephone consultation was available for 48 hours. No additional guidance or support was provided. All the while, I'm absent from work due to significant facial swelling and intense discomfort.

Disappointing service from springfield surgery staff

I was informed by a receptionist that the surgery closes at 1pm on a Thursday, though I'm uncertain about the accuracy of this claim. What I do know is that I was instructed to visit the practice at 2pm today to obtain a travel pass form signed by Dr. Aldabagh - a document I've been needing for over a month. Despite being charged £7 for his signature, I still haven't received what I'm paying for. Despite having long-standing mental health challenges and previously relying on Springfield surgery for support, I now feel increasingly uncomfortable entering the premises. The receptionist comes across as discourteous, condescending, and unmotivated, and this attitude seems to extend to several of the doctors as well. Obtaining my monthly repeat prescription has become progressively more challenging, as they consistently fail to fax it to my local pharmacy.

I cannot emphasize enough how discourteous and ineffective the front desk staff is. Scheduling an appointment was an endless struggle. Despite my diligent efforts to request my repeat prescription well in advance, it consistently arrived late. My son's blood test results went missing, and we received neither an apology nor an explanation. The problems seem endless. My family has been patients at this practice for years, but we ultimately felt compelled to seek care elsewhere due to the abysmal service quality. We have completely lost faith in their ability to provide competent healthcare. The fact that they are responsible for our medical needs is deeply concerning, given their apparent disorganization. Springfield Medical Practice, you must seriously consider these reviews and take immediate corrective action. Managing healthcare is challenging enough when patients are unwell, but having to endure such unprofessional treatment is both unnecessary and totally unacceptable!

Terrible service from unhelpful medical receptionist

The front desk staff was incredibly unhelpful. Unfortunately, I didn't note her name. I phoned to request my vaccination history, as I'm preparing for my honeymoon in Asia, and she was extremely discourteous, flatly denying my request to obtain the information via phone. Booking an appointment at this medical practice is consistently impossible, despite my living practically next door. It's no surprise people mock the National Health Service as ineffective.
