The medical facility has deteriorated significantly since the recent management change, with patient care now completely absent. The personnel are discourteous and lack professionalism. They probe with inappropriate and intrusive inquiries that patients find uncomfortable. Scheduling an appointment is extremely challenging. Despite these issues, Dr. Solomon Senior stands out as an exceptional physician - arguably the finest general practitioner I've ever encountered. I remain deeply appreciative of his consistent compassionate treatment throughout my medical history.

Terrible service and unhelpful medical staff nightmare

Absolutely terrible service. I'm dealing with an infection and was forced to wait on hold for 25 minutes, even having to walk to the GP while waiting. When the receptionist finally answered, I explained that I'd just returned from A&E and was directed to book a local GP appointment. However, she completely ignored my explanation and repeatedly insisted I go to Barking emergency. When I tried to speak to a manager, she told me I'd need to book an appointment just to file a complaint, and they couldn't even schedule a callback for the next morning at 8am. What's the point of having a contact number if they won't actually help patients? Their behavior is completely unprofessional, and I'm definitely filing a formal complaint with the NHS.

I've been with this medical practice for quite some time, and this experience has been a significant improvement over my previous healthcare provider. The ability to receive GP callbacks is fantastic, and their efficiency is remarkable - typically, if you contact them in the morning, you'll secure a same-day consultation. In contrast, scheduling timely appointments was an incredibly frustrating challenge with my former surgery.

Dr Chana is outstanding. She is incredibly courteous and compassionate, taking the time to truly listen and demonstrate genuine empathy. Her ability to understand problems and find effective solutions while providing reassurance is remarkable. Truly exceptional. THE RECEPTIONISTS ARE TERRIBLE. They are extremely inefficient at handling phone calls and communicating with patients. IT IS UNACCEPTABLE HOW LONG YOU MUST WAIT ON HOLD. THE SYSTEM IS FUNDAMENTALLY BROKEN. Patients cannot be expected to wait an hour or even up to 90 minutes to secure an appointment. They'll question if it's urgent, but why else would someone be calling if not urgent? It's infuriating to remain on hold for 90 minutes only to be told they're fully booked. IT IS COMPLETE CHAOS AND THEY ARE DISRESPECTING PEOPLE SEEKING MEDICAL CARE. They provide no specific callback time and expect patients to be available all day. Numerous fundamental issues with this GP practice remain unaddressed, and the pandemic has exposed these longstanding problems. It's unfortunate because Dr Chana is exceptional, but the practice is undermined by incompetent staff who are compromising patients' healthcare needs. IMPROVE THE CALL SYSTEM, IT'S ABSOLUTE CHAOS. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Edit.. A review after 2 years. Significant improvements have been implemented. The surgery is now clearly managed much more effectively. Phone calls are being answered quickly and appointments are being scheduled efficiently. The receptionists have been replaced with more competent staff. It's encouraging to see proactive steps taken to enhance the practice. The GP has created new rooms and thoroughly renovated the space, transforming it into a more modern and appealing facility. Previously, I believed this practice was beyond redemption. Numerous doctors were subpar, phone lines were dysfunctional, booking an appointment was nearly impossible, and the overall care was deplorable. It's disappointing that Dr Chana and several other excellent doctors departed, as with their presence, this would have been an absolutely exceptional practice. I wish them well and remain grateful for the care they provided. The transformation is remarkable compared to two years ago, with substantial positive changes. I am thoroughly impressed. Continue maintaining these improvements and pursuing further enhancements, as the practice has successfully addressed its previous shortcomings.

While waiting by the phone, I glanced at these reviews, and I could almost be reading about people from a different universe—they are so inaccurate and misleading. My family and I have been patients of Dr. W Solomon for over three decades, and some of the comments posted here are pure fabrications and nonsense. There isn't a more exceptional physician in the entire area, and this is the gratitude a dedicated professional receives after giving his absolute best to patients for over 30 years. He is an exceptionally compassionate human being and a highly skilled doctor, with a staff that is courteous and friendly. Akhi is knowledgeable about everything or will diligently find out, and I noticed someone criticizing Rani as rude. Where are these people coming from? If you're dissatisfied, I suggest you join another local practice where you'll have to trudge to the surgery and wait in line, only to be told there are no appointments for 2-3 weeks. You have no idea how fortunate you are with this practice. Thirty years ago, Dr. Solomon consistently received 5-star reviews and was named Doctor of the Year in Redbridge. He certainly hasn't compromised his standards, so I would question the attitude of those writing these false reviews. As a grateful family for over 30 years, thank you, Dr. W Solomon, and may you continue to care for us so wonderfully.

A truly horrendous medical practice. My family members receive treatment here, but there's zero post-hospitalization support or attention. Dr. Vikram Solomon is virtually unreachable through digital or telephonic communication, and when you miraculously secure an appointment, he appears completely disconnected from the patient's medical history. My mother requested an MRI for a specific concern, and his bizarre recommendation was to travel to India for the scan. Is this the caliber of medical guidance he learned during his professional training???

I'm utterly frustrated after this morning's disastrous attempt to schedule an appointment. After enduring a 30-minute wait on hold, I finally reached a receptionist who took down all my details, only to be abruptly disconnected mid-conversation. It's been over two years since my last visit, and I urgently need appointments for both my son and myself. I'm completely baffled by how impossible it seems to secure a simple GP consultation when you actually need one. Moreover, it's completely unacceptable to redirect patients to distant medical centers. When someone is unwell, they want convenient, local care - not to be sent miles away. What about patients without transportation? Forcing sick individuals to use public transit risks spreading illness even further. I'm absolutely appalled by the terrible service I've experienced today, and I'm still without an appointment, now stuck waiting in the queue once again.
