They merely recorded my height and weight and offered guidance on medication administration and missed dose protocols. A breast health card was provided, which I found helpful. However, my blood pressure was elevated across four measurements. No action was taken, and I cannot verify if this has been documented in my NHS app. No inquiry was made about smoking habits or alcohol consumption. What a squandered chance to assess potential hypertension and provide lifestyle recommendations! Extremely disappointing for what should have been a straightforward consultation!

I was essentially reprimanded by the receptionist for not following up earlier about a repeat prescription I submitted via the NHS app last week, which they failed to process due to their own administrative mistake. While they acknowledged the error, they offered no apology and informed me I would need to wait another 72 hours for the script to be sent to the pharmacy. Upon explaining that my child had already exhausted their medication supply, the receptionist had the audacity to question why I hadn't pursued the matter sooner. I mentioned we had recently relocated, though this detail was entirely irrelevant and should not detract from their professional failure. She displayed zero remorse for the clear inconvenience caused by their error and remained indifferent until I repeatedly emphasized the urgent medical need for my son's medication. Only then did she reluctantly agree to escalate the matter to a doctor. This level of treatment is absolutely unacceptable for a patient. Such appalling behavior has driven me to actively avoid medical consultations since moving to Altrincham, which I recognize is detrimental to my health, but the sheer discomfort of interacting with their reception staff has pushed me to this point.
