Feedback reveals a practice with significant challenges in appointment access and reception experience, though some patients report positive interactions with clinical staff. Securing appointments presents a persistent difficulty, particularly during morning booking hours, with phone line accessibility issues and long waiting times cited repeatedly. Reception experience varies considerably, with some patients describing dismissive or unhelpful interactions, whilst others praise courteous staff. Communication gaps emerge as a notable concern, including appointment time errors, lack of apologies for service failures, and insufficient follow-up on referrals and test results.
On a positive note, the practice environment has been modernized with digital systems and comfortable facilities, and nursing care receives consistent praise for helpfulness and responsiveness. Some patients report successful same-day appointment access and seamless booking experiences. However, these positive experiences are substantially outweighed by concerns about prescription management problems, parking difficulties, and perceived lack of compassion during critical moments. Several patients describe feeling dismissed when seeking urgent care or expressing health concerns.
The practice demonstrates inconsistency in service quality across different areas. While some clinical interactions are described as professional and caring, systemic issues around appointment availability, reception demeanor, and responsiveness to patient needs create frustration. Patients express particular concern about difficulty accessing face-to-face consultations and the responsiveness of phone systems, with some noting a perceived decline in standards over time.

AverageGood surgery
I have been at this practice for 3 years, do you always get to see a Dr no, but the ANP's are more than capable of dealing with most issues leaving the doctor appointments free for very ill and children. I have read the reviews on this practice and most of the complaints are ridiculous. The reception staff are all very friendly and professional they put up with so much through their day about things that they do not control they are doing their jobs and following instructions from their employer (like most employed people have to do) only this week did I witness the receptionist being shouted at, how she stayed so calm was a credit to her, how would you feel being screamed at throughout your day at work and what people seem to miss is this is not an emergency service it's an appointment based Dr surgery. The dr's are only able to see a certain amount of patients daily for safety reasons. They are doing a great job at this surgery and as for the appointments being made at 8am it's the same at most surgeries and has been for a long time it's not a new thing just for this surgery.

Terrible phone service from this frustrating company
Phone connection constantly tied up, and that pretty much sums up my entire experience.

Frustrating phone system ruins potential medical care
Their scheduling process is perfect for those without jobs, but for working individuals, it's a total headache. Trying to call at 8:00 am only results in a constant busy signal, and 45 minutes later, you're left frustrated. They desperately need an online booking system so that employed people have a fair chance of making an appointment.

Frustrating healthcare experience with zero support
Called the clinic 5 consecutive days right when they open at 8am, yet still no available appointments. How is this even possible? I'm left with no choice but to fight this chest infection, despite being someone with a compromised immune system.

Poor!
Disappointing healthcare with minimal patient examination
Haven't visited a physician at this clinic since 2019. It's always a nurse practitioner who tends to just listen without thoroughly examining you and quickly writes a prescription. The physical therapists simply hand out a generic exercise list, completely disregarding your inability to perform those movements due to pain! I'll be switching to Park Surgery from now on, though they appear to have the same management.

Seamless booking with an amazing doctor switch
Scheduled a consultation right after the holiday without any hassle. Although my original physician was delayed, I was redirected to Dr. Bashir, who turned out to be exceptional.

Worst medical practice ever terrible patient care
I've been with this medical practice for a year. The first six months were tolerable, but since October, they've been terrible. I was experiencing significant pain due to an ovarian lump, and the practice manager was extremely disrespectful. I desperately needed an appointment for pain relief, yet they never inquired about my condition. When I was unwell, the GP simply terminated the phone call. Another time, he called while I was speaking with the NHS CEO. The surgery claimed I should have ended my call with the CEO to speak with the GP. Their behavior was completely unprofessional, and they subsequently sent a letter removing both my husband and me from their patient list. I absolutely refuse to have my children treated by this practice due to their shocking patient neglect. Without a doubt, they are the absolute worst healthcare provider I've ever encountered.

Terrible healthcare service that fails patients completely
I've been a patient at this GP practice for over 8 years, since my teenage asthma diagnosis, and the decline in their service has been dramatic. What was once a mediocre practice has now become utterly unacceptable. I'm still waiting on test results from three years ago with zero communication, and while my condition isn't critical, their lack of follow-up is alarming. Even my asthma management has been problematic - despite being diagnosed by a specialist, the practice nurse repeatedly questioned the validity of my condition when I came to renew my prescription. My experience here has completely eroded my faith in our healthcare system. It's an absolutely terrible place to seek medical care. To make matters worse, their appointment scheduling is a nightmare; you can expect to wait at least two hours beyond your scheduled time. I strongly advise anyone to choose literally any other medical practice. Save yourself the frustration and find a more competent healthcare provider.

Pharmacy fail health care left me hanging
Prescribed an antibiotic that was unavailable, cutting a long narrative short. Utterly unacceptable, I'm typically not one to voice complaints, and if this were a clothing item out of stock, I'd shrug it off. However, this involves my health, and being given antibiotics for a week-long treatment with only a two-day supply is completely unacceptable. I visited the pharmacy to collect the remainder, as they had assured me it would be in stock today, only to be informed that they still won't have it. When it comes to healthcare, this level of service is simply inadequate. They need to significantly improve their approach.

Parking nightmare at this terrible location
Watch out if you're seeking an appointment and choose to park. Some staff members seem eager to issue penalties, even when the parking lot is barely occupied.

Terrible service and misleading medical practice
Avoid this medical facility at all costs. The practice manager presents a false facade of friendliness, but her true nature is far from pleasant. She provided incorrect information to the DVLA, which subsequently created significant complications for me. My advice is to steer well clear of this clinic.

Terrible healthcare leaving disabled patient completely abandoned
I've been a patient at this practice for just over 2 years. Despite living with multiple, complex disabilities, I've never managed to see a GP. In this time, I've had two extremely difficult appointments with a practice nurse who consistently dismisses my concerns. My last appointment was 2 years ago regarding a serious gynecological issue requiring surgical intervention. A year later, I discovered the nurse had neglected to submit my referral. Given my medical challenges, the ongoing frustration, and mounting health anxieties, my mental health has significantly deteriorated. When I sought help, I was merely sent a digital questionnaire. After completing it, I received a text instructing me to collect antidepressants - effectively being diagnosed with anxiety and depression via a impersonal text message. Today, I called distressed by intensifying pain and worsening symptoms, only to be coldly told to retry at 8am tomorrow, with absolutely no compassion or understanding shown. It's painfully clear why mental health statistics and suicide rates continue to climb.

Uncaring staff nearly cost me my life
I arrived at the medical practice feeling extremely anxious and sought assistance. Unfortunately, I encountered zero compassion or genuine concern. What was the point of even being there? I had previously received support from this clinic, but this situation was far more critical. The elderly receptionist dismissively redirected me to the hospital, where waiting times stretch beyond 6 hours. She clearly had the capacity to help but deliberately chose not to. My very survival is now at risk because of this test delay. UPDATE: Medical confirmation revealed my Cortisol levels were critically low, genuinely putting my life in jeopardy. I ultimately returned to England to undergo the necessary testing. Had the diagnosis been further postponed, I most likely would have perished. I am now profoundly furious. This surgery's protocols must be fundamentally restructured to properly support patients facing emergency circumstances. Their current approach is completely unacceptable.

Exceptional care with perfect scheduling every time
I've been coming to this medical practice for an extended period, and I can't emphasize enough how exceptional they are. Whenever I need an appointment, I'm guaranteed a slot on the same day when I call first thing in the morning. The staff and healthcare providers are truly outstanding in their professionalism and care.

Terrible healthcare experience at dysfunctional medical practice
A complete disaster of a medical practice masquerading as a doctor's surgery! Repeatedly palmed off with nurse practitioner consultations despite explicitly requesting a doctor's appointment as detailed in my correspondence. Then subjected to a torrent of patronizing, sneering insults!! They bear absolutely no resemblance to the former excellence of Park Surgery! Utterly trapped, with other practices claiming I'm registered, though that designation means nothing whatsoever!!

Great care when you need it most
I've consistently been able to secure timely appointments when medical care was deemed critical. The reception team displays courteous behavior. The Advanced Nurse Practitioners are truly top-notch. My interactions with the General Practitioner have been comfortable, and I've received precisely the treatment required for my health concerns.

Pharmacy nightmare with missing prescription and frustration
Absolutely frustrated after being repeatedly misled about my prescription's availability. Initially informed it was ready for pickup, I made the trip only to discover it wasn't there. Multiple phone calls yielded conflicting information, with staff directing me to different locations. I was shuttled between St. Johns and my original pharmacy, all while being without my critical depression and thyroid medications for an entire week. This experience has been incredibly stressful and disruptive. Their only response was a dismissive "I am sorry," which does nothing to address the serious inconvenience and potential health risks caused by their incompetence.
