A senior nursing staff member suggested I might benefit from having a consistent primary care physician, given the frequent rotation of doctors I encounter, though this recommendation hasn't been implemented. The healthcare system is currently experiencing significant instability, yet I've successfully managed to work through the various complications relatively smoothly. On the whole, I believe St John's is genuinely committed to providing quality care and appreciates patients who are equally engaged in their healthcare journey. Grateful appreciation.

He demonstrates remarkable compassion and meticulousness, taking significant care to explain medical details and being deeply committed to identifying the root cause of any health concerns. I sincerely hope he remains with the practice. In my assessment, this is unquestionably the finest medical practice in the area.

The reception team displays a complete lack of empathy and professionalism. I contacted them regarding dental sedation medication that my dentist specifically advised me to discuss with the doctor. Initially, they dismissed my concerns entirely, claiming they don't handle dental-related matters. Despite repeatedly explaining my situation and being persistent, they consistently maintained they won't prescribe this type of medication - which I know is false, as a family member has previously received the same prescription. I was forced to make multiple phone calls, shuttling between the reception and my dentist, yet they remained unhelpful. Their constant dismissive attitude has left me extremely frustrated, as I cannot attend my dental appointment without the necessary medication. The reception staff's poor communication and uncooperative approach is unacceptable, and they urgently need to improve their service.

The reception team at this NHS facility must be the most incompetent and arrogant staff imaginable. What expertise does a receptionist possess to offer medical advice? When you eventually manage to secure a consultation with a GP - which is nearly impossible - the doctor proves equally disappointing! Why would a physician request information about your current medications when they have your complete medical history displayed right before them? This surgery has degraded into a disgraceful shadow of its former self, which was once a model of excellent healthcare.

Unacceptable wait time for urgent medical help

My opinion of this medical practice has drastically plummeted after today's experience. Around 9:40 AM, I reached out to inform them that my wife was extremely ill and unable to travel, requesting a doctor's consultation. I was assured a physician would return my call. Unbelievably, a doctor called back SEVEN hours later!! SEVEN HOURS!! While I understand they can be busy, this response time was completely unacceptable. By the time they finally contacted us, my wife's condition had worsened to the point where she was being transported to the hospital via ambulance, with me following behind. This level of medical care is absolutely inadequate!!

Terrible medical practice with record manipulation issues

This surgery has decimated the remainder of my life. Initially, the practice seemed excellent, with Dr Nicholas being outstanding before departing. The nursing staff remain truly exceptional, and I now consult Dr Mike, who attentively strives to help me. Dr Ehdego has systematically tampered with my medical documentation, maliciously altering or eliminating records that contradict specialist assessments. Whenever hospital assessments occur, the surgery claims they've received nothing 90% of the time - a pattern not unique to my experience. Multiple attempts to review my medical records have been met with aggressive resistance. Staff become hostile, insisting there's nothing to examine, despite my recorded evidence. The practice manager appears ineffective, with complaints routinely dismissed and involved parties fabricating explanations. Dr Mike could only locate a single spinal assessment from May 2018, raising suspicions about potential manipulation. A disturbing example involves a supposed quote in my social history: "Currently unemployed... previously self-employed builder. Currently undertaking catering course to maintain ESA payments." Such a statement seems entirely implausible and demonstrates the extent of misrepresentation. I intend to formally complain to Kings Lynn hospital management regarding these documents. Update: On June 24th, a simple blood test resulted in unnecessary interrogation. The nurse's behavior was shocking, particularly given the typically pleasant staff. Something in my records must be flagging me as problematic, explaining why I'm consistently denied access. The practice manager consistently ignores correspondence, with rare replies being utterly futile. Their dismissive attitude - "This is Norfolk, we do things differently to save money" - suggests systemic bias against me for reasons I cannot comprehend.

St John's surgery is an excellent general practice. The telephone reception team consistently provides helpful guidance and assists with patient inquiries. We always manage to secure appointments when needed, and telephone consultations are readily available. Their prescription service works smoothly, with medications conveniently delivered to the Willows pharmacy for collection. The facility offers a spacious parking area and restroom facilities. Accessibility for disabled patients is well-considered. Mask-wearing is requested, which we find entirely reasonable. The practice has implemented protective screens at the reception counter, demonstrating a strong commitment to Covid safety protocols.
