Finally Got Help After Maritime's Neglect

I'm utterly disgusted with myself for not abandoning this healthcare provider earlier. Within a single week, my new general practitioner developed a comprehensive strategy for all my health concerns that Maritime completely disregarded and, in some instances, exacerbated over 18 months. They utterly destroyed my mental health, and I'm now receiving treatment for depression and anxiety, with the bitter irony being their sole approach was to push anti-depressants that consistently had a detrimental impact on me. I spent an entire week attempting to contact the manager before ultimately experiencing a total breakdown and being hospitalized. Save yourself the trouble, Sue Room is an absolute disgrace to the NHS—an incompetent fraud whom I wouldn't trust to manage even the simplest task, let alone a medical practice. I sincerely hope you're reading this, Sue. You failed me in countless ways, and I would have shared these sentiments directly with you had you ever been willing to spare even five minutes of your time. You should be thoroughly ashamed of yourself.

Waiting times for a typical call stretch beyond 40 minutes, even during standard hours. With 8 people queued up, you can't help but worry that patients might give up and disconnect out of frustration. After submitting an e-consult form, there's often no response, forcing you to repeat the entire process by phone and invest another 40-plus minutes of your time. The entire system feels fragmented, with zero effective communication between different departments, leaving patients to constantly follow up and chase information. Despite these significant challenges, there are a few genuinely helpful receptionists who do stand out.

Weeks Later, Form Still Untouched at Reception

Tried to sign up as a short-term/urgent patient during my brief stay. A week ago, they assured me they'd handle my two-page application "right away". Upon following up today, I learned the form remains untouched in reception, with no one taking any action. They're unable to give me any timeline for processing my registration, which means I can't schedule any doctor appointments in the near future.

After being informed that five people were ahead of me in the queue, I endured an excruciating wait of more than 40 minutes before finally connecting with a representative. Fortunately, when I did reach someone, she was remarkably courteous and helpful.

Steer clear of this place - it's the epitome of healthcare nightmares you've been warned about. Their customer service is utterly useless, with zero distinction between "can't" and "won't" help. After spending an accumulated 140-172 minutes on hold across three separate calls (all initiated at 8am), I was repeatedly told "no appointments available" for what should have been a straightforward 5-minute consultation with a doctor. This marks the second major issue I've experienced with this practice in just half a year. The previous incident resulted in a hospital visit after the GP literally searched my symptoms online during the consultation. Seriously, stay away... this is a complete disaster masquerading as a medical practice, consistently failing to provide even basic appointment availability.

Nightmare Clinic with Zero Patient Respect

Utterly undependable! Scheduling an appointment seems impossible. Patient care is clearly not a priority. Medical staff consistently fail to honor phone consultations or adhere to agreed timeslots. Utterly appalling, I've been anxiously awaiting a call from the medical office regarding my wife's critically elevated blood pressure, and for 48 hours, there's been complete radio silence. Endless Wait and Parking Nightmare

Steer clear of this medical practice if humanly possible. I accompanied my partner to an appointment, and we ended up waiting an eternity—over 90 minutes. How challenging could it possibly be to transmit a prescription a mere stone's throw away to the local pharmacy without creating complete chaos? The entire situation is utterly absurd! The parking situation is a nightmare, thanks to the school and playschool across the street, with a parking lot that becomes gridlocked due to inconsiderate double-parking. I'm so frustrated that I'm forced to award even a single star just to voice my complaint.

Friendly Staff, Disappointing Doctors

The front desk personnel are incredibly accommodating, but the medical professionals fall far short of expectations. If there's any way to sidestep this procedure, I strongly recommend doing so, as you'll likely end up feeling utterly disappointed and with nothing to show for your efforts.
