Matt made my blood draw painless

The medical facility was impeccably maintained, and the process was swift and efficient. Matt, who conducted my blood draw, demonstrated exceptional interpersonal skills, showing genuine warmth and expertise. His technique was so smooth that I barely noticed the needle insertion. It's clear that Matt is an outstanding member of the healthcare staff, bringing significant value to the practice.

Impossible to Get a Doctor When Sick

Utterly revolting service! It's impossible to secure a consultation, no matter how critical the situation. Even when your child is seriously unwell, their approach is shockingly callous. The front desk staff robotically drone the same response: "No doctor appointments available" - completely devoid of empathy or concern.

Months of Waiting and No Doctor's Call

Absolutely terrible service. I possess an email from the front desk staff verifying I'd get a physician callback regarding my diagnostic test, yet three months have passed with zero communication. My medical concerns are mounting, with plenty of initial assurances but no actual follow-through.

Weeks-long wait for a phone call GP appointment

Getting a GP appointment is a nightmare. They schedule callbacks weeks in the future, and sometimes opt to conduct consultations remotely over the phone. If the entire consultation is just going to be a phone call, I might as well use Google. There's essentially no added value, since GPs are essentially just middlemen between patients and specialists, whether in private or NHS healthcare systems.

Urgent Cancer Appointment Missed After Long Wait

I feel compelled to update this review as I was contacted today to discuss the events of yesterday and clarify the upcoming steps in my situation. I appreciate the follow-up. ---- This isn't the first time I've encountered an incredibly frustrating experience while attempting to book a medical appointment. After dedicating 58 minutes this morning to scheduling a consultation, I was informed a GP would call me. I waited until nearly 6 PM, then called back, only to be told nothing was in their system—despite earlier assurances that someone would contact me. This is a critical stage 4 cancer emergency, and they didn't even propose an alternative time slot for tomorrow morning! If you're unable to perform your job effectively and lack compassion for patients, I strongly suggest finding alternative employment and allowing more empathetic individuals to handle this role. I am utterly disappointed by this complete lack of professional care and concern.

Quick and Helpful Phone Support for My Illness

After initially being apprehensive due to some critical feedback, I was genuinely impressed by their exceptional service. The experience far exceeded my expectations, with prompt communication and follow-through on their commitments. My medical concern was efficiently addressed via telephone consultation, and a prescription was swiftly prepared for collection at my local pharmacy. I'm truly grateful for their professionalism and care. Kudos to the entire team!

Prescription Nightmare at Island Medical Surgery

I registered my parents with this practice as they reside on the island. Despite knowing it was under special measures, I had hoped this would lead to improvements. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. The administrative performance is abysmal, and getting anything accomplished is practically impossible. When I called about a prescription, I was informed phone requests weren't accepted. Visiting the surgery the next day, they couldn't locate medication records (even after I'd forwarded documents via a link they originally sent). They requested an email, which I sent. Three days passed with no prescription, leaving my father without essential food supplements, and their only explanation was system disruption due to ownership transfer. I might have accepted this excuse if I hadn't been attempting to resolve this for four consecutive days, using every possible communication channel - phone, email, and in-person visits. Four days later, and still no resolution. Candidly, there's absolutely nothing commendable about this practice. The GPs appear to be temporary locums who seem largely disinterested, and I've yet to encounter a single staff member who inspires any confidence in their professional capabilities. Completely useless.

Terrible Phone Service and Rude Receptionist

Attempted to schedule a consultation, but when the designated time arrived, no one responded. I was forced to make two separate phone calls, with the first abruptly disconnected and the second involving a receptionist who reluctantly claimed she'd relay a message—yet no follow-up ever materialized. The entire experience was incredibly frustrating, and the receptionist's attitude was notably dismissive and irritated, as if addressing my concerns was an inconvenience.

Robotic Receptionist Killed My Vaccine Request

I initially intended to share a scathing critique of this surgical practice, but the existing comments already speak volumes. The receptionists here epitomize total indifference. During my 9:45am call, I encountered the most dispassionate, mechanical, and uncaring response imaginable. The receptionist barely listened, constantly interrupted me, and regurgitated generic, scripted responses. She could have been easily replaced by an automated system, saving the practice money. After interrupting my explanation, she introduced an entirely irrelevant point, forcing me to spend additional time clarifying my request. I needed a doctor's letter confirming my first vaccine shot, which was originally booked by this surgery in July. Since they couldn't schedule my second shot before my PERMANENT international relocation, I requested documentation to receive the vaccine in Romania. I was informed I require a doctor's letter to qualify for the second shot as a temporary foreign resident. The receptionist coldly stated the doctor couldn't assist because "he doesn't have time". Apparently, he has ample time to idle in his office, but not two minutes to write a simple letter. Remarkable. Clearly, our tax contributions are being brilliantly utilized. This practice should be shuttered. Their service is demonstrably terrible, substantiated by the overwhelming negative feedback preceding my review. It's unsurprising this GP has such abysmal ratings, reflecting the NHS's ongoing systemic failures. It's a perpetual cycle of avoiding accountability and responsibility. GP: "Have you tried calling NHS 119?" *I call NHS* NHS: "Have you tried contacting your local GP?" Completely futile and reprehensible. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this place entirely.

Doctors Avoiding Real Appointments Again

This medical practice just sent my partner a self-congratulatory letter about offering video consultations. Absolutely unacceptable! They need to resume in-person patient examinations. Not all individuals have the capability or comfort with digital appointments. For the past year and a half, my partner has repeatedly attempted to secure a face-to-face doctor's visit, only to be repeatedly fobbed off with telephone consultations. It's utterly ridiculous. These healthcare professionals should stop cowering behind their administrative barriers and return to their fundamental responsibility of directly examining patients. They're simply avoiding their professional duties. Completely useless!

Endless Wait for Basic Healthcare Support

I've been attempting to secure medical attention for a critical health concern for over a month now (advised by an external professional), and it's severely impacting my well-being. My partner has become my full-time caregiver with zero additional support. I'm calling nearly every day, yet securing an appointment within the same month seems impossible (heaven forbid you can't anticipate when illness might strike). Multiple appointments have been scheduled where they never even contacted me. What options do I have? Their phone responses are consistently dismissive whenever I raise concerns. They misplaced my lab results, and given my intense needle phobia, I'm desperate to avoid multiple visits due to their incompetence. Their approach to mental health treatment is utterly ridiculous. I'm perpetually unable to obtain consistent medication appointments or reviews, forcing me to ration or skip medications, which restarts the entire problematic cycle. They repeatedly tell me to book an appointment within two weeks - but how? It's a complete waste of time and resources.

Struggling with POTS and No Medical Support

Really frustrated! It seems like they're completely clueless and disoriented! I've recently been diagnosed with POTS, which is impacting every aspect of my life! I'm struggling to eat, and this is causing severe complications with my diabetes! My ketone levels are constantly elevated! I can't stabilize them with insulin because my blood glucose is low! I'm dealing with starvation ketones and desperately need nutritional supplement drinks to reduce them! My health is becoming critically dangerous! I'm desperate to avoid hospitalization! But I'm convinced the medical professionals are failing me, and I'll likely end up in the hospital again!! I was offered an extended hospital stay to learn how to manage POTS, which would have meant weeks or months of intensive care, followed by continued adaptation at home! Instead, I chose home support, but I've received absolutely nothing! I'm essentially bedridden and left to battle this condition entirely on my own! This situation is driving my anxiety through the roof - it feels like an impossible scenario with zero medical support!

Dismissive Docs Failed My Daughter's Health Needs

I sought urgent medical attention for my daughter's physical health evaluation related to her eating disorder, as advised by an external specialist. However, the physician dismissed her concerns, simply suggesting she consume 2000 calories daily. The medical negligence continued when they inadequately addressed my water infection, prematurely marking the case as resolved without proper treatment.
